Did the early shias at the time of Saqifa believed that Imam Ali was the most worthy individual to become the Khalifa and it was his right to rule the Muslim Community. OR did they believe that he was chosen by Allah as the rightful Imam and Prophet Muhammad SAW specifically appointment him as his successor? @13:55 onwards. What's is it?
Having a strong opinion and holding a position that Imam Ali is the rightful and most competent person to become the Khalifa After Prophet Muhammad SAW is ONE thing. But believing that he is the specific Imam who is appointed by the commandment of Allah by the clear words of Prophet Muhammad SAW is ANOTHER thing
