Yes, about the added bass notes, that's Fredrik's foot pedals. You can also see him using it on a couple of the videos from the presentation gigs she recently did, e.g. on Starvation from Pryzm in London. I also remember (but can't find it now) that Aurora introduced Fredrik as playing guitar/mandolin and bass pedals (and backup voice). The looping is something I have seen done live by others, all the way back to Robert Fripp and Brian Eno, so that should be perfectly possible to do as well. And why would anyone ruin this fantastic performance by mucking about in post production? That makes no sense. It's perfect as it is.
Great reaction! It's cool seeing you become more and more of a fan of this amazing, unique artist. You really need to check out the "Starvation" music video. It is crazy good!
I love it. And she has something in her that take attention (I am mesmerized :) ). At last it works for me. Great live version. There are 2 other cool versions album version and remix version. Both also worth to check :). Thx for a reaction!
Very nice reaction👍 She’s definitely a unique free spirit, I love that about her❤️ Love this song and performance, it gives me tribal/viking/celtic sound 😍 Even though I love this performance very much, I prefer to listen to the remix featuring NATURE😍 It would be awesome to see you react to “Starvation” official video😍🔥
Me too !! I have the Brian Eno Remix featuring Nature on REPEAT. I think I have listened to it about 100 times so far. Have you seen the behind the scenes videos of the recording of the remix with Fredrick and Brian Eno ? They are amazing and really interesting.
She just dropped a new album called "What Happened to the Heart?" The studio version of this song is one of 16 songs on the album. This album is going to blow you away.
Masterful. Her musical incantations are powerful, grabbing softly then spellbinding our minds, through our ears and our eyes, into the new reality she's crafting for us... a musical paradise. Her art is pure magic, as gorgeous as it is powerful. "Hell, yeah", I guess... Thanks for reacting to Aurora, our beloved singing little Giant.🙂👍
Great reaction👍 Re the added notes in post production. It’s actually Fredrik the mandolin player who is doubling the bass line on a MIDI foot keyboard. I guess to let Aurora move around more freely. Check out the ”Some type of skin” VEVO performance where you can see him using it.
Great reaction, you have now done 4 of the songs off her new album which dropped 6/7, 12 more to go, the whole album is fantastic. You should check out the official music video to Starvation, it is epic. Thanks
You really need to listen to her studio songs from the new album. Some really cool music the way Aurora wanted it. Live is good but the studio version of this is a banger.
Great reaction. About the added piano notes. I heard the same, but her mandola player has a set of foot pedals he plays with his feet. That may be where it was coming from
I suspect she may have been using a looper. This performance tops the album arrangement which is awsome in it's self. Her body movements are just her reacting to herself.
If you've always known Gaia, then you knew her before you had "Wisdom" ( before the lies ) and if you have a soul with no "King" (male dominance) - aren't you like Aurora and the rest of her followers? and isn't giving water to the Devil the same as forgiving your enemies? Gaia is not the one in danger, she survived asteroids and ice ages. The human race is the one in peril! We need to start calling her name more than any other time in history.
She is one cool lady
I think Aurora is also looping some of her vocals with her piano (easy to do these days), may not necessarily be all be done in post.
Im seeing her october Royal Albert Hall London, So excited. Im 58 and like an excited teenager
She's amazing

😍🔥🔥
My thought regarding the repeated/added sounds: on-the-spot live looping (not post-production).
