I wonder why the score motor has a hinge? I’ve never noticed the hinge before :)

I have seen them on Ballys before, Gottlieb has a hinge too with a cotter pin removed, Williams also has a hinge. Guessing its only to lubricate the gearbox that operates the turning of the stack.
