The flipper Switches Contacts have a "different special contact coating high current rating specs" because it has 40vac to 60vac going through the flipper switch contacts?

Went to Silverball Pinball Museum in Del Ray Beach FL today. Not many old machines but what they had was in good working order. Everything set to free as you pay one price of $20. There was no challenge or motivation to do well other than a personal high score. The object of pinball is to spend the least amount of money and to play as long as possible.

Id love to see it play!

This was near my hometown. So of course we went and checked out Alice. She is a real thing of beauty. Even despite the fact I am more of an 80's guy. The callouts were so so, and the price is pretty darn steep. But wow, she looks amazing.

Never my cup of tea. Why did pinball evolve this way? I'm in an alternative universe. The other one still only has EM pinball, with Sky Lab, Free Fall, Skill Pool, and digit counters with only 3 wheels that can register a "1."

I’ve noticed when I do this repair sanding with a finger or thumb will result in a dished condition. I had much better results using a small sanding block to maintain a perfectly flat surface. I touched up a Grand Prix playfield that was pretty bad. I matched colors and airbrushed all colors then clear coated using an automotive clear. That was followed by wet sanding with 600, 1000, then 2000 grit, then it was buffed. The playfield really pops now.

Tilex works pretty well for mold removal on wood.

I switched to clipping the pins on the chip side and then removing them one by one a while back. Never looked back to be honest. Even with the most effort not to pull traces I still managed to pull them sometimes. Soldering chips is not for the faint hearted ;) Thank you for all your video's!

I took my kids through Brookfield Square Mall on a Saturday…maybe 6 months or so ago. Absolute ghost town. I would wager at least two thirds of the store fronts were closed. While the mall has had struggles (as all malls seem to be having now), it was still a pretty busy location prior to 2020. That food court was always packed with people. It’s pretty sad that it’s gotten this way. I have a lot of nostalgia attached to this mall. It’s a place I’ve been to many times.

Unfortunately not a fan. Played it at Pin-A-Go-Go. Seemed bland and slow.

I never liked these rype of games. Too busy, too many balls in play at once, could never figure out what i had to do. And no bells? Chimes? Stupid. Give me the old Skill Pool from Williams that scored in 1's and only had three spinners for a scoreboard. When you got to 999 a light illuminated behind a "1" on the glass next to the spinners making the highest possible score 1,999. That didn't stop us from up 27 free games.

My favorite type of game. Love the small flippers. When they are working properly it's more fun than rhe later, larger flippers. I also like games that score in "1's" (single digits).

Mark, I checked the data sheet for Superlube grease. I’m wondering why a dielectric type of grease would be used on the rivets? Seems it would adversely affect the electrical connection in this location. Would using conductive grease be OK here?
