Amazing. If you can get past the obvious handmade nature of this film, the content is incredible. Clapton at his best, as we have never seen him - so relaxed but getting the most incredible sounds out of his guitar ... and pure blues - some of which I have not heard him play before. The opening bars of Double Trouble sound like Hendrix ... Big thanks to MMM for making this available, and the SAP ... long may they keep coming!
Oh baby, look how you got me standing round cryin! It’s great to have one with Double Trouble. Always searching for new versions of both DT and Groaning. I’ve heard audio of this version before; but so nice to see it in full concert context, and have video. Watched the LA house of blues one a couple of weeks back. It still amazes me that people went to shows with a full sized shoulder hoisted camcorder, tripod, battery packs, and got away with it! So glad they did…. And so glad someone somewhere cares enough to curate it all!
