John always seemed to love Lisi and he loves him, so he corrected his mistakes because of it and because he is sensible. He is also brave and honorable to have given an interview to the press regarding his family and he is fair to have applied justice on the miserable doctor who set Lissie up. I like this site the best because although there is heartache regularly in the stories at the end love and happiness are generally found; one question though-there was no mention of how John and his son became closer as he truly didn’t trust his new dad…

That's a good question. Children more easily trust strangers and let them into their circle, because their hearts are clean, without scars from other relationships and they do not have prejudices and different attitudes as adults.
