Going to King of the Hammers with a race team is always fun. You volunteer to help, you burn a couple weeks of vacation, work you butt off and live like a hobo. But, it is always a great experience! Cheers from the PNW. Get a star link mini with the roam package. Motobuilt makes a weld in mount. Setting it up is literally scantron code make an account, make a WIFI name/password, and there you go. Get a used Iphone,or android phone, make a mount for it facing forward from in the cab, and connect it to the WIFI from the star link. I recently got one for my Jeep, and was up in the cascades with it wedged between my roll cage, and soft top. I was facebook live streaming my snow wheeling run to facebook for my wife, and kids to see as a test. It did pretty good on the side of a mountain. I would not big dog it. Even the best stuff can fail.

Its pretty simple, we just got ours set up to stream in car for this years Mint Link go you need the quick app Link gopro to internet go to settings in camera and theres a selection to go live it will give you a link to share. If yoh need more info let me know happy to help.
Such a novel concept having a race car totally done and ready to go well before KOH and having time to tinker with little projects. Maybe one day I’ll figure out how to do that 😂😂
The Fair lead you are talking about is the YANKUM . Its an awesome design. Coolest part about it is you don't even need to run a hook on your synthetic rope. You just use a Soft Shackle. I switched my entire setup over to YANKUM. Fairlead, winch Line, Couple of soft shackles, 2 Aluminum snatch block rings, and a Kinetic Energy rope. No need for that big bulky hook or heavy snatch blocks anymore.

Oh forgot to mention. I use starlink mini too fulltime rv. To communicate we use zello on mobile when ham/gmrs is down for walkie talkie type communication. It's a great back up. Starlink has been very worth it as long as it has proper amps
