I only sadly have the Endless Winter Jon Stewart and the Blackest Knight Collect To Connect wave Kyle Rayner Green Lantern figures from McFarlane, However, I might try to get this classic style Hal Jordan Green Lantern figure because he looks cool especially with the head sculpt and that so fun classic design, Overall Great review Shartimus.
This is the single best (modern) GL figure that McFarlane have released. It looks like Hal Jordan and the extras are pretty cool. I have the Kyle Rayner GL, which I thought was excellent, but this knocks spots off it. The digital side is pointless, though.
Oh hell no, McFarlane has put effort into keeping up with modern engineering standards, and the detail for a lot of their figs is EXQUISITE. If McFarlane had only kept the 6" scale, I'd be buying more than just what I can fudge into my current display (Martian Manhunter, Grodd, Swamp Thing).
Very nice overall, great headsculpt indeed, ive been having fun posing around the Ambush Bug fig, it's a good one too, basic but good. Great review as always!
"Nothing at all... Nothing at all..." STUPID SMIRKING HAL HEAD SCULPT! All that Mattel's lines still have going for them, in hindsight, is the 6" scale most long-time collectors have on their shelves. If McFarlane had just kept that scale, their attention to detail and updated engineering would have me buying WAY more! This smirking Hal is probably the best figure of him ever, at any scale.
Hello, Mr. Prime, it’s been so long since I’ve seen your videos, last time I talked to you was in the Basketball Stephen Curry figure review. I was wondering if you could do a review on the medicom buzz lightyear. Idk if you will even see this comment. But, have a good day Mr. Prime.
I might get the Arkham Catwoman, I tried to get the Agent Venom, but he was sold out. I might be done with Amazing Yamaguchi though, I’ve been enjoying Mezco more.
The Mattel figures were really bad but I do really like their proportions. McFarlane might not be the best figures ever but I do think they’re way better than Mattel.
No, Mattel shit the bed when it came to articulation. Which is why I'm not happy about Hasbro pausing the Lightning collection and outsourcing Power Rangers to Mattel. Not happy about them letting McFarlane make Marvel figures but the former makes me *less happy.* I have a very bad feeling about this. Edit: I also prefer pinned over painless because if something God forbid goes wrong and something breaks its way easier to fix. I know that these opinions are not popular, but this is the hill I have chosen to die on. I awake the TH-cam comment section to crucify me as a heretic.
Pinned figures are better for customizing and it’s easier to fix but the durability on those figures aren’t so great compared to pinless. The pinned joints are separated so it’s easy for them to become loose and for the plastic to become soft and break. Compare any pinned figure from any company and compare it to pinless figures. The pinless joints are so much tighter
There's just no comparison between McTodd DC and Mattel 4 Horsemen DC. Todd just rubberstamps every DC figure that comes across his desk and 4H have been making the best sculpts in the business for decades.
Honestly a second market could easily come in and create all kinds of constructs for this and other lantern figures and make a killing
Good idea
@@noobedits64 thanks
I'm actually really happy he doesn't have that texture on his suit. I feel like it fits the Silver Age far better.
Stop motion let's gooooo!

And we appreciate you, Shartimus.
Very nice! Bring on Guy Gardner, Todd! Solid review, thanks! 👍

I have a bunch of Mattel DC action figures and I most definitely prefer the Mattel DC line over the Mcfarlane.
Stop motions are back!! Hell ya!!! Probably your best yet!! Big fan, Shart!
F the texture. He’s great the way he is. Its the other ones that don’t need the textures
sick looking figure shart, I might pick this up soon
Stop motion is back 👍🏻👍🏻
Yay! Bigtime let-down didn't let down!
Mattel’s DCUC is easily better than McFarlane’s DC Multiverse. If DCUC was made in 2024 it would be perfect.
Those figures had terrible articulation for the time. Mattel refused to up their game and lost the rights to DC.

@@megagrey my phrasing is really bad I meant if it came out in 2024 with modern standards for action figures they’d be better lol
The best thing DCUC had going for it was variety. They did literally any character.
Terrible take
I’d love to see a Kilowog review, but only if we can see Spidey get smacked by that hammer.
BRING THE STOP-MOTIONS BACK FIR EVERY VIDEO

Yes, pls review the Kilowog set!

Awesome review 😎⚡🔥
I wish they had the @RyanReynolds version, still would get
Need.
Kyle Rayner looks like Jungkook😂
Yes review Kyle rayner and kilowog please
wasnt his green..greener ? at least i remember that
Are you still doing reviews on revoltech

@@ShartimusPrime okay that's cool whatever you plan to do I'm with it I've been watching you since I was 12 I love your videos you are awesome
😮
That is awesome
Yes mattel is better because its 6 inches
Hasbro is better. So them licensing out Marvel and Power Rangers to McFarlane and Mattel respectively doesn't fill me with joy.
Terrible take

I’m sure I’m in the minority, but Mattel’s DC Universe Classics is way better than McF’s offerings. I just really don’t like his products.

Strong agree. McFarlane isn’t making articulated Marvel figures though, just statuettes basically so you’re safe there lol.

@@thunderstudentnothing. You might think you don’t have that problem, but you probably do. You just ignore it
