Not to be too picky, but I think the name translates more nearly to "evening and morning" than "night and day". Same idea, though. :-) As to that ending: I really think it needs to go back to end in the A (morning) part! Not for any symbolism, but so as not to leave us hanging. Nice job on the playing!

It is in the repertoire to be played by the Outstanding Open Band at the South Coast Folk Society's FolkOut! contradance at the Langlois Cheese Factory in Langlois, OR. on Aug 3, 2024. Hope it works out for all the players and dancers!

Very nice! In my mind the ending begs to be resolved, but the uniqueness of this tune is that it isn't.
