At the beginning the changing of the horses...The amazing police officer got the crowd under control. Speak firmly and loud and if they don't understand the loudness will get there attention. "That's how it's done folks" At horse guards he said "NO TOUCHING THE HORSE " and pointed to the sign. Another amazing guard. Keep this up then everything will fall into place ❤❤❤❤
I wish people would stop telling others that the horses stand there all day!! I'm in the U.S. and I know they are there for an hour then a different horse goes to the box, for an hour..smh
UNBELIEVABLE how much more relaxed the horses are already...not having to bat people away and try to move people away by biting. Please, keep up the good work of enforcing the Stand Back / Move Back rules and no touching rules.....glad someone saw this was becoming a very dangerous situation for soldiers and horses.
I agree. I also need to say, IT’S ABOUT TIME!!! It is awesome to see the guards and horses taken care of. Unfortunately some of the public still do not know how to behave at horse guards. Keep up your good work taking care of your horses and guards! Perhaps an entrance fee may eventually be charged. I think that might be a big step to public behavior. I would have lots of free passes for elderly, children, service members, guards etc. I understand why there is no charge. For the future even a limited number of tickets might help. I love being able to go on utube and see so much!
The looks on that Troopers face were priceless, you could imagine him thinking "why are all the idiots over here" lol, he sure had his share of them during his watch.
Laughing at the older lady who was told NO!! Don’t touch the horse. She stood back with her mouth hanging open as if she couldn’t believe someone made her follow the rules!!😊😊
This is what I don’t get. The sign is posted near every horse and yet these people get insulted and somewhat pissed off when an official tells them to stop whatever they aren’t supposed to be doing. It’s disrespectful to grab the reins when you clearly know you’re not supposed to, yet people do it all the time. They do not think about the guards or the horses. Purely disrespectful. Rude. Inconsiderate. Most of all - selfish.
The sign should be on both sides of the horses. I know it won’t totally keep the hands away though. Some people feel entitled and just don’t follow rules.
Right! While the guard was speaking with the other guard and looking away, she snuck up there the first time and got away with petting the horse. But, she got too bold and tried it again, and this time he caught her and got her told. She knew better, and she was right in front of the signs, so no need to look shocked now. 🤭😄
I think you can have too many signs and it would take away the majesty of guard and horse. Common sense if they have any should prevail @tonicaron7585
It's nice to see most people respecting the new rules, though there will always be those who push the limits. The guards look a little more mellow most of the time even if constantly alert.
It's good when the guard says, "Make Way..." vs swerving too much for the tourists. A little wiggle room is fine, but the guards deserve to be 'parted' for. After all they are the main attraction, their regal-ness, et al.
I respect the tradition. Love that they get off the horse at the end of their shift. Really wish tourists would be more respectful. They give tourists a bad rap. THANK YOU FOR SHARING ❤
Loving these Guards, they are so serious in their job.The one on the left with beard seems strict but he is a very fine young man full of smiles when he was interviewed.Thats is why even as I live in Asia I have so much admiration in this country.I will watch them everyday, they are awesome Kings Guards and wonderful horses.
This Guard and his horse are a very nice couple, the horse almost falls asleep from boredom and the Guard is very alert and has a lot going on in his head about all those crazy tourists 😄👍🏻
@@cherylkerby4474 I don’t see how people conveniently overlook that fact. Not to mention the non-HorseGuards employees and people who walk through to the other side to visit other places behind HorseGuards
Nothing unprofessional about it. The senior Trooper needed to be where the Trooper was and it would be unprofessional during a set manoeuvre to ask him to move over, so he did what he needed to do.
The small boy in the red football shirt was the only person I’ve seen in any of these, that nods thank you to the guard he’s been photographed with. Sad that all the adults I’ve seen, of all colours, religions, etc. have been shown up by a 10 year old.
It is MUCH better now that everyone is on the same page (To retake the area to reduce stress on Soldiers and Horses) and enforcement of the rules....but, even still, having to tell people over and over to Move Back and them stand there and argue is ridiculous....no more than 2 Move Back's should be done before they are removed from the area.
Putting the 'hand sign' up appears to be working really well. So glad they were put up, so much safer for the Horse Guards and the horses. Stay safe and be proud of what you do
Good to see the sign "Don't touch the horse" - long overdue in my view. It's impertinent to intrude on the personal space of horse and Guard while on duty. Tourists should learn some manners and be polite and respectul of others who are at work.
His face's like "do they pay me enough for this?" 😂 And the guard who pushes his colleague and makes him laugh, is he not the "blue jacket off duty guard hugging the horse" from months earlier?
The guards' job is not to control tourists. I feel that the police should do that. If the guard feels like it they should feel free to react as they see appropriate but they are not on crowd control .

It seems from recent videos that overall the horses seem calmer and coping with their shifts better since the no touching came into force.
Glad that they put up a new sign. I know that there are going to ignore it. This is a "No Nonsense " guard!
Great Job Guard! The look on her face, after being called out, was priceless! 😂
