Let's make an accordion fold card using a creative card technique! These handmade cards use a fan fold that will add texture and pizzazz to all your card making ideas.
Pleat your designer paper with a simple paper folding technique. I've include a free template in today's project sheet so you can easily replicate this card crafting idea. Whether you choose to elevate your pleated panels with Dimensionals, Foam Adhesive Strips or simply adhere them, you're going to find this easy DIY paper technique quick and easy!

I've got to make a graduation card and was wondering what to do on it. I haven't got the die for the gown and hat, but the shape of them looks easy to draw and cut out. I will definitely do the pleats that are slightly raised. Thanks for the video.

Love the pleated card! My favorite is the one with Dimensionals, due to the dimension, so the pleats show up better! I love butterflies, and think I will use Dimensionals on the pleats, and then add a butterfly or two, directly to the pleats, without the rectangle of cardstock. TFS!

Thank you, Lisa. I watched a video a while ago that Karen did (probably the same Karen who sent you the card). I glued pleats down, so now I'll use dimensionals on the new one that I make, which will be fun to do. It is always good to see a fold or technique more than once. I liked the DSP that you used.
