The lightweight division is so stacked. Even the unranked guys in that division are top-tier talent.
No doubt. Guys with a some losses are sometimes the most dangerous.
It's insane. Realistically dudes ranked 11-20 are about on par with the guys ranked 5-10. Don't think you can say that about any other division.

Agreed 100%. I think it has a great deal of potential to be FOTN. Both guys have great gas tanks for an exciting 3 rounds. The only thing I don’t like about this fight is that I don’t want to see Al lose his comeback fight, and I don’t want to see Bobby lose after the performance he put up against Fiziev. I want to say Bobby gets the job done though

its crazy because bobby has lost a few fights over the past 3-4 years but when you look at the statistics he has outstruck his opponents in all of those losses, sometimes almost by a 2-1 margin. i know the striking stats dont tell the whole story but i think this man has been robbed several times recently in fights he probably should have won

I swear the UFC always gave me the impression that alot of these fighters really couldn't have came from nothing but watching this made me have alot of respect. I'm going through alot right now so this definitely helped me to move forward. My dream is to at least be in the ufc one day. At least one fight would make my dream come true

In some of the fights I've seen BG lose I felt for sure he had won. When the judges see him fight, IMHO, his style is so different the judges can't see his unique style and judge it accurately.

I knew his story was going to be good. This guy is great. Very similar to the Diaz brothers or Jorge Masvidal in that they don't have the best records but you can always count on them to fight a very close fight with the best.
Credit to his defensive skills. 40 fights and he doesn't sound like he's had his head smashed in hard.

I literally asked bobby on Instagram a week ago to make a video telling us more about his story because I find him an interesting guy and boom here it is. I am a fan of bobby because I went through a very similar tragic-filled childhood. My medium is music and MMA, but I'm not a pro fighter. Bobby represents all of us from broken homes that decided to go a different route. Bobby hasn't lost a fight in years, the only losses he has had were robberies go look at the numbers bobby is no doubt a top ten lightweight, and I feel bobby could beat anyone in the top 10. I think he takes care of Iaquinta with a majority decision will be a tough one al is an animal too. Then you will see the UFC give him a bigger name, I feel like king green is a star and definitely a fan favorite, he is one showcase away from blowing up in this sport on a Masvidal type level. Who has a more compelling story than king green?
Didn't know much about him. He took Fiziev to a great back and forth war although he lost. What an amazing cat. He could beat anyone on any given night.

Honestly this made me like Bobby green ALOT MORE.... Knowing that he's been through a LIFE VERY SIMILAR to mine I gained so much respect for him. My brother recently died 5 days ago from suicide and it's been hard for me to even cope with it... We both went through foster care as well as my other brother who also passed from cancer at 26 I'm 24 younger than both my brothers and my last brother died at 29 days ago. REALLY JUST DONT KNOW WHAT IM DOING never been more confused in my life. My mother is not in the picture no more she's been on drugs her whole life in and out of our lives and now my brother gave up. I currently don't even know where my mom is right now. Yet I feel like I'm forced to tell her that my brother is gone and I know for a fact she won't know how to take it. I just feel super numb. For years I've been going through stuff and just didn't know how to take it. Now that my closest brother is gone I know Im FORCED to move on and I hate myself for not being there yet Im not even mad at him. Life has been hard for TOO TOO LONG for all of us and I just hope that I can at least make it out of this light.... Honestly I'm rooting for Bobby green for the rest of his career

I met Bobby when I was 13 back in 09 training at pinnacle jujitsu in Redlands CA he was always game a born fighter and a nice guy too glad to see him make it up there and over come all the adversity that’s what it’s all about Salute!

I was born in Fontana and lived in San Bernardino when Bobby's tragedy happened. At that time, San Bernardino was leading in highest murder per capita and it's a mini war zone. Bobby, you have a relatable voice to kids with similar upbringings as yours that is proof that they don't have to fall into gangbangin and just be another product of the I.E..
