Love the technique
If you don’t have a heat resistant mat, use a foil lined shoebox lid (idea from Ardyth Percy-Robb)
Love the end result - wow! It would be interesting playing with copper embossing powder and a teal ink. Definitely going to try this. Thanks for sharing 👍
You can use mica powders on the card version of this technique too. Just set it with a little hairspray to set xxxx
Which one do you mean Kerry? Sorry a little confused.
@@barbporritt4113 the first card that Lou did. Xx
Ooh, a copper embossing powder with a verdigris Luscious powder!
@@mariabromwich8897 ooh that's lush xxx
These techniques were so unique. The card is stunning. Am so happy I found you and your videos. I am learning a lot even though I have been stamping for years. Thanxs so much.
Awesome, more stuff to try, can always count on you to show me something different!
As soon as I click on one of your videos a thumbs up is automatic LOL I've already subscribed or I'd do it again haha. Have a blessed weekend and thank you so so much!
You always show the best techniques 😊
Thanks again as ever Lou. Great technique. Interested to see any card you may use these for.
I love this as it uses all the things I already have ❤
Love your experimenting and sharing!! This looks really fun to try. Your creativity is so inspiring, TY!! 🧑🏼🎨😀
Very clever Lou. How on earth do you come up with these ideas!😊
Wow who knew. This is fantastic!
This is really a terrific technique!
Great idea. Will definitely try it. TFS.
I love your videos. You have so many creative techniques.
Fun technique. Thanks for sharing. Love the metal look it gives. Can't wait to give it a try. 😊❤
Loving the ink on the embossing instead of using Stazon. Wonderful. Have you ever thought about using a "corrugated" metal as a background? I have tried it by running my mirror or card (or you could use this technique) thru a crimper (I've still got mine from 15/20 years ago) and then use your browns, grays and blacks to stain it rusty. Rusty corrugated metal is quite popular for decorating too. Also tried the compressors for airbrush painting but didn't have much luck with the one I had. Didn't seem to have enough blow power to get the ink off the permanent markers. I might try your idea here. Thanks Lou. You are so helpful. I love that you are all put together and get your techniques out without a lot of "adieu" and we don't have to wait on someone to find their this or their that. You are a blessing.
So clever!!! Thanks for the inspiration Lou!
BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE THESE!!! ❤❤❤❤

I especially love the tin look!
Genius! Thank you 🙏🏽 ❤
Stunning new technique to try out! Could you put clear embossing powder over the black ink and set it again?
Thank you.
Great idea Lou x ❤❤
Wowsers! Those do indeed look like worn metal tiles. Awesome technique for the toolbox - thank you for sharing!
Another option..thanks
Great techniques. The first one looks like ceramic tile and the second one looks tin tile❤
Great technique might have to try this with UTE xx
Love it! Thanks Lou
Who are you and how did you think of these?
Brilliant. Thank you
You keep playing, Lou, and sharing with us!
Lori ❤
I love this! TYFS! 😊
Those are amazing!
Very interesting technique thank you, but could you please do closeups? That distance of viewing is great for seeing how the technique is done, but it’s very hard to see what the effect actually looks like, particularly since it’s a very subtle effect. And particularly for those of us watching on our phones. Thank you 😊
These are gourgous
TFS
I always enjoy watching you play with your craft tools. You create something amazing every time! Thanks for sharing these tips!!
Very clever!!
Brilliant ideas, definitely will try this, but if I am double embossing, I reheat the first layer of embossing powder so I don't need to reapply versamark.
Hi Lou great job tfs ❤
These are lovely techniques, Lou! Thanks SO much for sharing them with us... Quick, give the techniques a name 😍😃😁
Awesome!!
