The multi-player was absolutely terrible, there's no defending that. But extinction was fun(not nearly as fun as Zombies, but still fun as it's own thing), and Ghosts had one of the best COD campaigns ever, honestly, if you haven't played the campaign, it's worth the price of the game just for that. The campaign is absolutely amazing. I'd have put the game in playable, because even with all the praise I give the campaign, and even tho extinction was fun, it had probably the worst multi-player, aside from BO4, which is one of the worst games I've ever played, and it single handedly made me lose faith in COD to make good games.
Agree with you on this. But I thoroughly enjoyed the multiplayer. My only complaint is the bigger maps. I would love to see a Ghosts 2, even if it is just the campaign.
@@krader12 I strongly agree that Ghosts should not be hated as much as it does. After Ghosts, advanced warfare came out and I never bought another COD again to this day. & I’ll never until they remaster BO1 & BO2. The worst CODs are the CODs that involve wall running, flying in the air with double, triple jumps, just ruined COD for me. COD ghosts was the last game that felt like a COD. Until they went back to being on foot again recently.
@@krader12 My first cod was Black Ops 1, And BO2 came out in 2012. All I did was play those two games 2010-2014, from ages 9-14. Amazing prime years of COD.
@@McMillionX bruh what? It had a perfect ending to set up a sequel and a great plot twist in the middle with Farah’s brother ending up being one of the main antagonists. A big twist hasn’t been seen in a recently COD for years. It also a had some of the best graphics I’ve ever seen with great heart rushing / action missions, sorry for geeking out but it really is one of the best campaigns we had in years.
Modern warfare 2019 is not dog shit that game was so crisp. It was a breath of fresh air from all the other ones before it. You can tell the devs put their heart and soul in that game

As a 12 year old now , when I was 8 or 9 when ww2 came out , my cousin Jordan who was 19 at the time taught me everything I know about call of duty . I swear I was dropping 13 eliminations 6 death games , haven’t played in a while so idk but damn those were the days I missed . The hours I put into that game probaly. Unpopular opinion: if you actually got used to the BO4 multiplayer, that shit was fun as hell, the dark matter was fresh, the diamond was worth getting, the loot box camps were the best there have ever been, and the maps (in my opinion) were also really good (besides arsenal sandstorm) it was also the first COD to bring stims, really overhated COD imo
Black ops II is literally the absolute goat of video games what used to be my faverite game and at the time could not put down and gave me the most memories, that’s why I’m mad you put the first of II
Modern Warfare 2019 was good. The weapons customization was new, the maps felt almost original, except the remakes, but the matchmaking was shit. Also the Vanguard weapons make gun nuts wanna kill themselves
I would take cod mw 2019 over cold war only because I play with my brother and we use split screen so when I play cold war I got so much glitches. There is one glitch where I just go invisible every single game and it annoys me. But cod mw 2019 has a good spilt screen I can play on
I haven't played call of duty or any other games in 7 years until last week when i decided to buy vanguard and I had forgot how good I am at this game. I'm averaging 30+ kills a game off the bat

The maps were awful. Devs admitted they added “safe spaces” to the maps. Aka they put stupid camping spots in every map so noobs could get kills and feel accomplished. The more cod caters to casuals the worse the cod is. Dumb camping spots + super fast ttk = trash gameplay
The first cod I ever really played a lot was black ops 3 and every time I play a different cod I always try to thrust jump and run against walls it’s my favorite game and I don’t really like any of the newer games bo3 will always be my favorite

CoD 2 (always just called it "Big red one") was my favorite game as a kid, sure its visibly crap compared to the quality of games today but it was fun as hell, same with Finest hour
I don't care, Black Ops 3 is easily the best Call of Duty game I've ever played. Not because I liked the boost jumps because in Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare it's trash. It was just so well done in B.O.3 and the weapons were amazing. The campaign was trash and I also thought that for zombies, but I really don't care about either of those modes in Call of Duty. Black Ops 3 was some of the most fun I've ever had with gaming and more importantly doing so online with friends. Getting a whole squad of friends online and play multi-player or even our own amazing custom modes which we had endless fun with. We dragged that game out for 3-4 years I think. Amazing memories. My Golden age of COD.
I hope he played the campaigns - those were my favorite parts of these games-but the rankings are iffy- so I am gonna assume he didn’t- like the modern warfare and cod ghost I really liked those campaigns

bo4 most underrated call of duty of all time. zombies was mainly for people who are good at zombies and multiplayer was extremely fun
