Gday Brad, another nice vid mate. I feel your anxiety, I pick up at a Kennards Storage in a 14 pallet rigid where you can drive straight through but have to back out because of the way cars are parked on the other end. It’s on North Rd in Huntingdale which is quite busy and a bus lane as well, one day I got stuck in the dip between the driveway and the road because some idiot decided to not wait for me and I had to brake suddenly which put the drive axle right in that dip couldnt go anywhere🤦🏼♂️. I eventually dropped the air out of the rear bags and was able to get out😊High level anxiety I can tell you with others watching as well 😅
Hi Brad, well Bookham was entertaining but i wonder if all that machinery is worth anything these days . How far have we come in modern times, would be good and bad i suppose like everything. That colds just about on it's last legs thankfully. Take care mate until next time.
The old stuff it probably worth more then the newer stuff. All the gear at the machinery sales place is small and suit hobby farmers. We had a small half ton super spreader on our dairy farm and it was too small and took too long to do the paddocks. All the expensive stuff like steam and traction engines are long gone when the sales happened. It’s mainly just old ploughs etc
@@Brad_The_Truckie It would have been so cool to be around when the steam era was on. At least we have some of those things now that have been restored that are beautiful
Hey Brad, another great insight to your day to day. I have two drones, one white and one black and regardless this time of year magpies chase and worry me. I have not been hit yet but drop em anyway. Anyone else have solutions or concerns?
Ah okay. As I said in the video it’s never happened to me before. Putting a mask or zip ties on a helmet works, maybe draw some eyes on the back of the drone or make it a plastic hedgehog ha ha
Hi mate thanks for the info. At least you’ve done the hard work to upgrade the Ute so it can tow that weight. It also helps the cruiser is still built strong chassis wise. There’s a lot of twin cab utes that aren’t. I saw a vw small suv pulling a dual axel van up the hwy yesterday, there’s no way that thing would be allowed to tow 3 ton. Many just don’t know how heavy they are or what they can legally tow
@@Brad_The_Truckie correct there is a lot of vehicles out there that should not be towing any sort of trailer/caravan but they are the ones that don’t get caught by the way love your videos I’m an ex truck driver and love seeing how the Hume has changed Cheers mate
Hello Brad Another great look at your trip
The drone shots are awesome, was great to see the old machinery
Thanks mate
Great one as always

Oh wow, hats off to ya mate I can’t even stand a delivery van in a busy area. Delivery drivers in the city are a different breed.
The old running joke was always NSW Highway Patrol slogan: Bookham’s the name and Book ‘ems the game. 👮 🗓️
Ha ha nice
