Great bike. I had the other yellow color from a few years ago (drink more water yellow). Ended up selling it as I needed a bike with gears as my kids (6 and 12) started biking every day and I couldn't keep up with them. Bought an All-City Gorilla Monsoon last week to replace it as I figure it will be good on pavement, grass, gravel and dirt and has an 11 speed .
There's another Yellow Surly back then? I wonder how it looks like. Glad to know that your kids are riding bikes too! It's also funny that you can't keep up with them haha, to be young right? Nice choice with the All-City too!
It's very cool. My first fixed gear bike, back in '87, was some similarly yellow old ten-speed, stripped down. I sold it to a Toronto courier named Elvis... My two single speed rides are an orange 1971 Peugeot with 40x16 gearing and a really light Kona, about 2011, with a 34x15 gear. Great video. Great taste in appointments of detail. I think you should have a brake, though !
@@davidrobinson9507 Back in '87? That was a long time ago! I wonder how bikes look back in the days. Nice gear ratios too and thank you for the kind words!
