About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.
Welcome to Indonesia.. Yes phyton exist all over Indonesia, vipers too. And if you ever be in the deep Sulawesi jungle, phyton there can go up to 3m length or even more, plus and there have been cases of human being eaten by snakes.

Bali is our happy place…been over 35+ times.
You made me very nervous seeing Jack driving knowing what the traffic is like over there.
You may have been caught up in Indonesian Independence Day too , the Balinese love a celebration.
As for snakes , yes there is quite a lot there and yes you do get quite a few pythons…even in residential areas looking for food , similar to NE QLD.
Have fun and get out of the tourist areas and meet the people , they are so generous with the little they have.
My son has been in the Philippines for a month -absolutely loves the culture -food -nature -and above all the price❤
Hey Trevor, Thanks for watching mate! have since done some research and yes heaps of snakes over here couldn't believe it! I couldn't believe how well I handled the driving maybe its the 160,000kms we did around Australia that helped a little bit hahah. We have travelled through so many villages now and every single person is smiling such a great experience!

We were visiting our Indonesian brother in law and he mentioned Indonesian Independence Day at his church with the people all wearing red and white for their flag. That was probably what you saw going through that town. Maybe 🤣

Loved the content, especially that hike to the waterfall. Getting a bit over the adverts and the promos though. The channel called " going overland " feel the same about all the advertising on TH-cam and are now doing episodes ad free! It is just so good.👍

I know heeps of people going and coming back from Bali at the moment every ones going there , last night just thinking what's the country side is like travelling around , because all I see is beaches , pubs and resorts from them , wow u guys are doing it fantastic looks like an amazing place , safe travels
