Yes! Just keep in mind that some mods such as Accurate Block Placement, Xaero's Minimap, Xaero's Worldmap, Neat etc might not be allowed on certain servers so ask the server owner first!
Don't risk using mods that give you an advantage on public servers like Hypixel as it might result to a ban!
