In sad news: the lead singer recently passed away at the age of 29...
Örs Siklósi has passed away last Friday, 05 of February 2021. He was the front singer of the band AWS when they competed together firstly “A Dal 2018” winning the first place. In the Eurovision Song Contest they qualified through the second semifinal scoring 111 points in 10th place amongst 17 other songs. In the grand final they reached up to the 21st place with 93 points.

The second dead father song and one of my five favourites this year. The lead singer's dad died, so the song is both from the point of view of a dying man and the mourning son. The title means "Goodbye Summer". I doubt this will win, but at least it has a good chance of getting to the final, unlike my absolute favourite Albania.

This is post-hardcore metal yes which will probably alienate a bunch of people BUT it's cleverly accessible at the same time. It follows a very common Eurovision song format: verse chorus verse chorus bridge/ break down chorus 2:30 keychange, reprise. Hopefully this bit of familiarity will help more people to feel ok with it. I cannot wait to see it live!

Reader Reader Thank you. I really just couldn’t hold it together after San Marino. Do they have relegation like the EPL for Eurovision? If so, maybe San Marino needs to be relegated for a year. If not, maybe San Marino should just stay home and practice for a couple of years?
No relegation. If you're eligible and want to participate, no one will stop you (as long as you pay and follow the rules). Although it would be quite funny if they sent San Marino's adult artists to Junior Eurovision to practice. San Marino has one failure after another but they are still not giving up, so I'm guessing they aren't really there to compete for high places, but to just take part, have some fun and remind the rest of Europe that they exist. Their songs are not good, but even if they send a bad song, at least they can vote for others and actively take part of the contest. And maybe, if they keep trying, they'll finally find their music.

It's a good "entry-metal" song. It's melodic enough for the masses, but has a good breakdown, and is pretty heavy in general. Especially the lyrics

Listening to this song makes me think 2018 Eurovision has everything, pop, dance, ballad, opera, now rock. Some love song, positivity, hope for humanity, remembrance to people. Maan I love Eurovision.

He sings about his dad was died. He would told to audience the time is very important and if you can live in peace, you have to can! This is obviously Metalcore, and even if I like Trivium (Metalcore), I don't really like this song. Anyway, I still support this guys because they are Metal.
I personally don't necessary think that the meaning of the song should be an argument. Eurovision should be a contest to judge song composition, performance, instrument virtuosity, singing ability, overall musical quality. But I guess Eurovision doesn't agree with me.
instrument virtuosity can not be judged, since instruments are all pre recorded at eurovision. chicken sounds are enough for europe this year....in israel, which is not even in europe.

The song is about the singer's dad's dying words and advice to his son. He died last year I think. The screaming bit is his (the singer's) grief, anger and frustration. :)
