ชุดไทยเหล่านี้พระพันปีหลวงท่านทรงอนุรักษ์และริเริ่มทั้งการทอผ้าไหมการออกแบบเผยแพร่ผ้าของไทยให้ออกไปสู่โลก และให้สไตลิสฝรั่งเศสออกแบบชุดไทยให้สง่าและทันสมัยตั้งแต่พระพันปีท่านยังทรงพระเยาว์ ผมอายุ62ปีแล้ว ตั้งแต่เกิดมาผมก็เห็นพระพันปีทรงสวมชุดไทยกับในหลวงรัชกาลที่๙ เสด็จไปต่างประเทศ ต้อนรับแขกบ้านแขกเมืองพระองค์ก็สรวมชุดไทย(8แบบที่พระองค์รังสรรค์ขึ้นมาเอง) สมัยก่อนคนทั่วไปไม่ค่อยมีใครสวมใส่ชุดแบบนี้เพราะมันมีราคาแพงมาก มายุคปัจจุบันประชาชนเข้าถึงได้มากก็มีการใช้ในงานมงคลต่างๆ แต่ก็ยังมีราคาแพงอยู่ครับ คนชาติไหนเห็นชุดไทยก็ชอบเป็นกระแสสร้างชื่อเสียงเป็นซอร์ฟพาวเวอร์ที่สำคัญของไทยเลยครับ

Currently, Thailand and several other Southeast Asian countries face challenges with claims of ownership over cultural elements, particularly between Thailand and Cambodia. Cambodia has been accused of imitating various positive aspects of other cultures and asserting that they originated in Cambodia, even though there is no historical evidence to support such claims. Moreover, Cambodia has been accused of distorting information to create a false narrative.
Historical records, including evidence from Chinese and European traders who conducted business in the region, clearly show that many of the elements claimed by Cambodia never existed in Cambodian culture. Cambodia's assertions are seen as an attempt to discredit other nations and wrongfully claim their cultural heritage. For example, traditional Thai costumes, which Cambodia recently started claiming as their own, have been part of Thai culture for centuries, and there is no historical basis for Cambodia's recent appropriation of these elements. While Cambodia wear topless in ancient time.
Similarly, Cambodians attending Thai boxing schools and then asserting that it is the origin of Cambodian martial arts, as well as claims of ownership over Lao traditional organ without any actual Cambodian practitioners, are instances of such appropriation. Notably, well-known figures like Lisa from Blackpink and Bua Khaow (a Thai famous boxer) have also been wrongfully claimed by Cambodia.
It is crucial to rely on accurate historical evidence and reject misleading narratives to foster mutual understanding and respect among nations.
