ในอดีตบรรพบุรุษไทยจะสู้แบบนี้ มักใช้คำว่าสู้เพื่อให้ลูกหลานได้มีแผ่นดินอยู่ (เพราะคนไทยรักกันเหมือนเคลือญาติ พวกเรารุ่นต่อๆไปคือลูกหลาน) คนไทยจึงมีเอกลักษณ์ใจดี เห็นใจคนอื่น ไม่บุกรุกรังแกใครก่อน
แต่ถ้าถึงเวลาสู้ คนไทยทั้งผู้ชายผู้หญิงจะสู้จนตัวตาย ชาวหมู่บ้านบางระจันนี้สู้ด้วยอาวุธที่ประดิฐษ์ขึ้นเอง บางคนขี่ควายออกไปสู้กับกองทัพทหาร ชาวบ้านเอาโลหะของใช้มาผสมหลอมเป็นอาวุธ ทุกคนแบ่งหน้าที่ช่วยกันทำ ป้องกันไม่ให้ข้าศึกบุกเข้าถึงกรุงศรีอยุธยา
แต่พอเวลาผ่านไปนานคนจำนวนน้อยก็ไม่สามารถต้านทานกองทัพทหารขนาดใหญ่ได้ วันที่บางระจันแตก...พวกเขายอมตายบางคนยืนตายกลางสมรภูมิรบ เขารบจนเหนื่อยตายก็มี พวกเราคนไทยไม่เคยลืมวีรกรรมของบรรพบุรุษของพวกเราเลย🙏🥺

The twelfth month in the Thai lunar calendar is not December. Approximately from October to November, counting from the day the moon is shaded by how much shadow. In Thai official textbooks it is different from what historians say. The reason that Ayutthaya refused to lend the cannons was Essentially, sending artillery out of a city while the enemy surrounded it on all sides involved the risk of it being captured. Then you can go back and use it to attack the city. Another reason is that Bang Rachan villagers are commoners. According to the royal laws of that time, every Phịr̀ commoner (Phịr̀) who was not a slave must belong to a munnai (nobleman). in time of war All commoners under the nobility were required to join the army. Therefore, the villagers in Bang Rachan may have been commoners who fled the war and gathered together. Ayutthaya therefore may not be willing to take the risk of sending important weapons. And every cannon is important to the defense of the city.
I explained it wrong. They could not escape the war. But I mean, maybe they were military deserters? People who refused to serve to fight in the war but fled. That may be the reason why Ayutthaya could not lend important weapons. And in that period there were many cities that rebelled against Ayutthaya. Giving weapons to people who might be deserters who refused to help in the fight They may be traitors who return to become rebels or guerrillas.
I don't remember in which month Bang Rachan was destroyed. So I would like to explain from the lyrics that they were not able to hold on until the twelfth month. Which means Loy Krathong festival. And I count from Loi Krathong until Songkran Festival. That is about 6 months. The period of Bang Rachan coincided with the time when Kings Taksin (at that time still a nobleman of Ayutthaya) gathered together a few soldiers. Break through the enemy's encirclement, which is Burmese soldiers, and leave the city.

Therefore, the villagers had to use artillery to fight against the Burmese army that would be sent. It is likely that the Burmese army will become larger and more heavily armed. Normally, Ayutthaya's strategy for fighting the Burmese army used a protracted battle. Because the capital Ayutthaya had a better location by being like an island with rivers surrounding the city on all sides. In the past, if we could defend until the rainy season The area around the city will become a place of flooding. The Burmese army will return on its own. But this time the plan was not to return because they wanted to completely destroy the Ayutthaya kingdom. Don't want to take over. This time there was a full siege of the city. All the towns that passed along the way were captured and when they reached the area around the capital they set up military camps to surround the town. and use the people's fields to grow rice for long-term supplies. Forced the people to flee into the city walls of Ayutthaya and began to starve and lack food. and firing cannons into the city all the time. This was another reason why Ayutthaya was unable to send artillery out of the city to help the people of Bang Rachan. and were afraid that the Burmese soldiers would seize the cannon and bring it back to shoot at themselves. Carrying important weapons to break through the enemy army's encirclement across long distances is risky.
