- Busy flight. Departure from Newcastle Airfield, along the coast, through Dublin Airport Zone which takes us over Dublin City then on to Weston
As the zone was very buys we had to 'hold' for our turn to enter. With me today Paul Mescal and our new PPL Sam Telford sitting in the back
Better to be over than in Bray for 15 minutes! Superbe vidéo 😊
Last time I was in there on a demo flight the great Darby was in the right seat demonstrating the ‘docile’ stall characteristics of a Tobago at 600ft. Happy memories of the old Weston.
Love to see it, great to be able to pick out landmarks and my estate while you're orbiting! Looking at starting my PPL journey in the next year, after getting a house move completed, likely out of Newcastle as much as I can as it'll be super local! :)
Anto Newcastle will be perfect for you to learn to fly.
Busy cockpit Noel lot's of chatter from ATC .Yoda was on fire as per usual 😊
Beautiful Stuff , from Grass field operations , take off , Holding , and approach and landing , Great stuff Noel , super comms too , well done ..
Thanks Aido. You must be due a trip home soon?
We'll meet up in Weston!
Great video again!! Thanks for let me see what is going on in the other sector, very useful for me.
Hi Flavio good to hear from you.
Another great flight ✈️ @NoelConnolly and a bit of time for sightseeing with the holding. Enjoy!
Great flying team Noel & Paul and Sam having a great view.
Another classic video for the" how to do it the right way"...Archive
Ahhh...so you're the guys I see buzzing overhead here in Charlesland (just south of Greystones) ? 😉Interesting vid. Cheers.
Best pilots in the business.
@@colmdawson9462 Now you're suckin diesel!!
Pretty neat.
The lads are like two council workers with the hi-vis on them in the airplane 😂 ffs.
It’s a requirement when we land back in Weston.
Not allowed airside without a hi viz. Sometimes we take them off for flying sometimes we don’ t. We must put them on in certain airports. In truth you get so use to them you forget you’re wearing it!
@NoelConnolly I expected that alright, was just funny to see though! Great video, Noel.
Great video
Thank you.
We gotta go for a spin to Newcastle. I've never landed in there. They're probably sick of me flying past!
Just say the word! 172 or SkyRanger?
@NoelConnolly The Skyranger. Would love to meet the team there. Sure, the Skyranger is more fun 😁
@@skyrangerswift2ireland careful now! The lads in Newcastle are as sound as a bell
Super airmanship and great comradery
Nice one Noel
The idle rich.
They’re like two peas in a pod in that cockpit
We're now the best of friends 😅
Class vid man, sorry if it's a weird question.. but I'm terrified of flying and I need to get over it, so I want to start off with a small plane on a short flight like you did in this video, how much would it cost me to sit in the back seat and be a fly on the wall for your next flight? :D
Hi, not weird at all. If you're ever near Weston I can show you around the aircraft sometimes that's a big help in getting over the fear.
Aer you expected to memorize the frequencies….seriously lads
@@JabberJabber628 the controllers always give you the next frequency. We usually have them written down during the planning. Local area flying we pretty much know the frequencies. Having the next one set up can be helpful
Thanks for watching the vid.
All ye can see is the cockpit????🙄
Any drugs on board??
@@bastogne315 😳
@@NoelConnollyRandom internet troll, ignore them. It's usually some troll-farm testing out their rubbishy AI's to see what response they will get. To be fair this came up randomly on my youtube-feed so guess that's how they got on to it. Great video, really intense stuff .. must be a very busy place / airspace ? You guys are so laid back and having fun with it while at the same time totally dealing with the intensity of the situation .. awesome !
@@joebloggs430 thanks man.
