I'm an Italian boy of seventeen and I really care about learning English. But many times, like you said, it becomes boring to use only a vocabolary or just learn by the scholastic lessons. So I really enjoy your videos first because you're a great speaker and also because the way you edit and organise your lessons. You're helping me a lot and I swear that to watch TV series in a different language or to listen you talking helped me much more than english lessons that I must to listen at school. Thank you.
Hello Emma,I'm Priscillia from Indonesia...I like learning and speaking English everyday.😊😊😊😄😄😄😀😀I'm really enjoy watching your video lessons,it's really helps me to improve my english skill..Thank you emma for teaching me😄😄😄 You're the best teacher👍👍👍
Dear Emma, I am a Peruvian teacher of English and I do agree with what you mention since all kinds of learning becomes more meaningful when we start thinking of our own interests. Thank you!
A non native English speaker here, though perhaps living and speaking it older than your age. You are a gorgeous looking and exciting teacher. I learn much from you, keep it up. Then if ever in California (SF Bay Area), look me up.
Emma I give you a ten for this tutorial and for these 10 suggestions that you make us. One suggestion I add is: listen to you, watch the subtitles, try to understand you, see you from time to time, pause the video and take note of unknown words, finally accept your recommendations and put them into practice. I send greetings to you, you are wonderful!
Hello Emma Your lessons are very effective for learning English. You do this work with more attention, involvement and patience. You are a very nice person. The way you teach is very attractive
I'm a girl from Algeria , I learn english from a three years ago and I still learn it , now I try a new thing , I make a forigners friends to talk with them of english , and I see that my english has improved . You know? I use three ways you have said☺ thank you so much for your helping❤
I am a Moroccan public high school teacher of english for a bit more than 30 years now. I find the way you are presenting uour lessons and the techniques beying ised very inviting and great. I appreciate your good job as a teacher because every single whatever you say make me so excited and motivated to learn more and more. It’s true i understand everything you utter because both pf us are trachers and we share plenty of things in common: the eveyday teaching vocab , the different pedagogical methods we use and the comprehensible input we share…The thing is how can we attract our learners’ attention so they could be all eyes and ears. I think i sound a bit philosophical but …. Looking forward to hearing from you
Hi Agnoula! Thank you for your lovely message and kind words. How can we attract our learners attention to be all eyes and ears? That’s the big question isn’t it? In my women’s community “Hey Lady!” we have the opportunity to try different ideas. The main approach that works is to stop focusing on learner scores and levels, which can crush confidence, and more on fluency and collaboration, which build confidence. We give learners the opportunity to talk about the things they are interested in, and give them the resources to collaborate with each other to make it happen. In this way they can inspire each other and be creative.. rather than what they learn coming from a textbook and teachers only. When learners can use the language and enjoy it through friendship, they are more motivated, more confident and more likely to want to keep talking. Hey Lady! Is for adult women, so it may be different to your context. We have a number of English teachers among our members with similar questions to you who gain inspiration from the community for their student. You are of course welcome to join and can even pose your question in there to invite others to join you for a discussion! Best wishes, Emma x

Hello mam.... I m a teenager from INDIA and trying to learn English. Speaking of ur teaching style, I really appreciate ur lessons. During watching ur videos, I feel like u r in front of me and just teaching me some tips to diversify my english. Thanks a billion for these great and helpful lessons.
I'm moldavian and I have started to learn english a lot for the three months. You're video lessons si very atractive and I'm reading now in my notebook this lesson, of course I red other lessons on your youtube channel. mmmThank you dear theacher!!!

I am from Nigeria, I came across your videos few days ago, I have to confess, you are the best online English instructor I have come across so far. keep the good work going
I absolutely feel like her style republish in English and not many peoples they exploded this way which has she really helped us improve and more comfortable with next steps, always... mmmm-emmma u r gorgeous man
dear teacher how to write english words correctly, because my English is very worst .. can you help me please by the way we are not native speakers thats why English is very difficult learn us . please help me if you can . please send me simple English story books names , songs names and some idioms and sentence pattern .
This year I started a words journal, but I was just writing them down, I'll definitely do what you suggest. I use a blackboard and see the words I wrote there (the ones I'm learning at the moment, when I'm done I check them on the journal) and try to create a sentence with them, also share it with others and that makes me remember them easier.
My first approach to learning english was with a dictionary trying to understand song lyrics. That gave me a sizable vocabulary but poor grammar which later I had to re-learn. Reading helped tremendously. Reading without a dictionary trying to figure out the meaning of words by the context helped in remembering the word, its use and what you call "colocation". The caveat is that conjunctions can alter completely the meaning of a sentence and can fool you in misinterpreting the meaning of a word so for that I highly suggest using a dictionary. Once I got better, watching the news, documentaries, and movies helped with hearing the pronunciation of words. Speaking with native english speakers helps but I have found that not many are willing to correct your mistakes even when you ask to do so.
You are a great teacher Emma.i am not a native English speaker.i am learning a different words from you. your’s video so easy to learn the English language. i really enjoys to listening to you. Thank you so much....
I have a dream to be a successful teacher like u in the near future...u explain in a very simple ...easy and clear way ... Listening your advices makes me motivated and gives me the desire to work hard to speak as a native and make my dream of being a teacher of english comes true. Thank u Emma ❤
Thank you sharing,Emma!....Learn to LISTEN CAREFULLY,if you happen to encounter a new word, search and LISTEN on how they correctly pronouncing it,know its meaning,LISTEN to english songs, watch english movies, and yes read children’s books, especially Dr.Seuss❤️and when you feel that you’re good at it,read more and more...READ AND LISTEN ATTENTIVELY!!!Make friends with people who really can speak english, talk to them, not just stand there and stare at her/him/them,speak and listen to what they’re saying, how they pronounce words properly, interact!Embrace every words, good or bad, just embrace them and enjoy!!!

You know I really like to learn and use my vocabulary by describing the world around me and learning new words by listening to music. You always help me in any themes which I need. I really love your lessons. With love Diyora ☺️☺️☺️
one more way to learn new vocabolary is to learn new words associated whit a specific subject(medicine for example) and to lecture about the topic alone.that is to say to send the monologue as a message to another phone in a voice message.thus you record yourself and listen to your monologue whenever you want, correct the mistake,to make it more fluently and so on.the fact that you initiate to speak these words as a part of monologue might help you to remember the new words.thank you.yosi alon

Thank you
I'm Turkey ... Thank you Emma for your best teaching...
one more way to learn new vocabolary is to learn new words associated whit a specific subject(medicine for example) and to lecture about the topic alone.that is to say to send the monologue as a message to another phone in a voice message.thus you record yourself and listen to your monologue whenever you want, correct the mistake,to make it more fluently and so on.the fact that you initiate to speak these words as a part of monologue might help you to remember the new words.thank you.yosi alon
