How about transfer of residence (Pakistani national living abroad and wants to move back for good). 1- Can they bring any vehicle model like 2000 until New model. 2- If the car is more than 2000CC then how much duty have to be paid? or it is allowed? 3- if the person is living more than 36 months in abroad and having the vehicle with him more than 36 months what would be the case?

Very informative video. I wanted to ask a question, I understand that if you want to import a car or suv into Pakistan it must not be more than 3 or 5 year old. But if you do your journey on an old car is there any way you can bring it in Pakistan by Carnet de passage or do you have to leave it at the border and never see it again.
If its old car then you need carnet and make sure carnet only valid for 3 months also if you have nadra NICOP or nadra id card pakistan custom will keep your car on border.
If you are Pakistani national or own Nicop they will cease your car at Quetta border if you come under carnet from Iran border. Then you have a month time to pay customs and get your car back. If you come from Dubai by ferry then they cease it at Karachi.

Can we clarify one thing? When we are bringing the car from Quetta to other states of Pak, will the duty have to be same as when someone can buy a legal car from showroom? Then, what is the difference. Assume if you’re buying a LC from NCP Quetta, the minimum price would be around 17-20 for a NCP. But when you’re paying the duties to legalize the car, will it be same as a legal Land Cruiser, which price is above 2-3c? What difference is left then? I would like to learn more about it.

Naveed Ahmad if its old car then u should have Carnet to enter into Pakistan.
If it old car they won’t let u enter your car in Pakistan .
