Flew into MSP from Bismark in 1975 or 1976 on a N.O. 727. After stops in Jamestown and Fargo first though. I remember the activity and the 747's and DC-10's vividly. My love of aviation and sentimental attachment to MSP started there. After to moving to Minneapolis a few years later, I remember my dad and I planespotting next to the end of runway 29L, which is now 30L. The area is now a car park I believe. I haven't been back since 1990 :(
Back in the 90's, I'd fly between Omaha and Spokane. I'd have layovers in Minneapolis. I was overwhelmed by its size. Also, back then, the concourses were color coded instead of using the traditional lettering system. They were red, green, gold and blue.

I remember a couple years ago when they had a big timeline with some of those photos on the wall in the TSA check in place

MSP has airplane shaped sink drains. Look for this detail mext time you are in the bathroom.
