@@sejembalm The big bugs can only be harmed with AT (anti-tank) weapons, and since this challenge prohibits them, literally the only way he can kill them is dropping resupply pods on them. So it's not that he was whittling away their health, it's that he cannot harm them and has to wait for the resupply cooldown to end. Hence why the mission time was 48 minutes, he was killing the smaller bugs and stalling the bigger ones indefinitely until he could kill them with drops.
Just saw this video pop up again. For those who actually understand Helldivers they will recognize how difficult this is without a strong arsenal of AT. It’s also very creative. So many naysayers... so sad.
Thanks mate, I really appreciate it! I guess it's just easy to talk but it's a completely different thing to actually do it yourself. This is already more than a year old and the more recent cyborg retaliatory strikes I've posted with crippled loadouts were much harder. They may not look that hard when you only see the successful run where everything goes as planned, but they were truly hardcore.
True. For me it's very simple, either you can do it or you can't. Solo RS is much more unforgivable towards mistakes than normal missions. Comparing a helldive normal mission to a solo RS is like comparing a dive in the park to a helldive. I have to say though that generally I feel the community is great and very supportive. Lots of great divers around.
@@mikasahd I ment the railgun is cooler than hd2's one because of stun effect. Overall I love hd 2 very much:) but no doubts I should try the first one
How are you running through the static field without getting slowed? Whenever I do that I always get slowed, do you think it had to do with the older version of the game?
@@ScienceDiscoverer No, you're wrong. It does a lot if used correctly. You may be referring to what you usually see in-game when people spam it without actually understanding when and why to use it. I personally don't see any show value in using it without that knowledge.

Without using anti-tank and others.because you have to have near God damn good luck to for you to be able to land supply drops on the big boys unless you just throw it directly on them and even that sometimes the game kind of screw you over
There's no luck in how he makes the supply drops kill the tanks. He stuns them with railgun shots as the drop comes to land on them. I can semi-consistently kill them with supply drops and no static or railgun shots, but that wouldn't be good enough for an arena fight.
@@d6ath6ang6l It has always been true. When you are in Bubble Shield and it is active, Static Field Conductors and Stun Mines / Grenades will not stun / slow you.
Stats are not important. They can be manipulated and even a bad player can have good stats and vice versa. Besides, what can you learn from a screenshot? You learn from a video. So if you want to call me out, be prepared to back it up.

Mikasa problem is that many people who consider themselves experts use very traditional weapons like rumbler, breaker and trident (yawn...)

Mikasa exactly, RS gives you nowhere to escape so it’s a much tougher test of skill.

You can do that if you're using the SH-20 shield and it's active.
