    S1: That poor guy, I hope he finds someone who is a stable partner. Her bull "wanted to talk it out" after she tossed an 8 year relationship, and she was surprised that he left rather than hear the excuses. Her echo chamber will try to keep her happy with the consequences of her choice until she'll either find a relationship or stop caring.

      I love how she wanted to “talk it out” and then didn’t talk it out; coming to the decision to break up with him before ever considering compromise and completely blindsiding him over 100% fixable issues.
      She has a lot of maturing to do regarding interpersonal relationships. She broke that man’s heart over absolutely nothing.

    • @LittleGameDev
      @LittleGameDev 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      On top of that she broke up with him over the holiday seasons. No only did she bottle up her issues she blindsided him with the breakup then left him to deal with the fallout with his family. All the things she is listing are normal issues in any relationship. Who doesn’t get mad or annoyed at someone in a game or someone cutting you off in traffic. I can understand why shes upset about the behaviour in those areas the slight anger management, but she also implied she didn’t have a problem with it to him.
      Imagine you’re in an 8 year relationship. You think things are ok, your partner is saying I love yous, being affectionate, everything is normal, sure you disagree on somethings like future kids but you’re still young in your 20s figuring life out. It’s the holiday season, your both making plans to move in together, you happy. Then you get the biggest bomb dropped on you. Your partner wants to brake up with you. They don’t give you any time to process it, then they say we can work this all out like they didn’t just say they’d brake up with you. All those happy months/weeks/days leading up to this moment all feel like some lie. You don’t get any real closure, you don’t understand why this is happening so you take a step back and leave to get some fresh air. Now you have to tell your family what’s happened, your friends, everyone who is expecting to see you during the holidays with your now ex partner. All while said partner hides away at home.

    2nd Story: At the end of the day, this entire crisis was caused by OP's mother because of the way she raised her. Take notice that OP mentions there are only two paths ahead of her, freedom and misery. And how does she define "misery?" Not being superior to her partner. This entire problem stems from OP feeling inadequate compared to her boyfriend because he was younger than her, but further along in his path, and she felt threatened by that, as if his success oppresses her.
    She didn't need a relationship, she needed therapy.

      She did not make the right choice here. She broke her favorite person’s heart and alienated herself from people that considered her family, all because she was scared about the future, which is a very common fear at her age. OP is a perfect example in this context. she lied about her number of previous sexual encounters and when confronted became aggressive because of it. while I sympathize for watching her mother be abused by her father, she made all those choices herself leading to her declining value as a partner in any relationship where the other person might see her as a great match

      That's the part that I'm still messed up on. She's acting like she's in her 40s and has been *through* it. She's just barely old enough to smoke and drink! That entire story was so overly dramatic that it could only have been written by someone at that immaturity level.

    But if she has a huge body count she _is_ for the streets.
    Why would he listen to anything you say if you act the complete opposite? You can say you are loyal, monogamous, etc but having a huge list of partners you act nothing like it.
    Or another way: if you are looking at any longterm serious investments, do you trust what the owner or employee tells you? Or do you look at past results? Smart man does the second. And that means you are out lady.

    There's your problem
    "He got into all that masculinity stuff"
    I've seen a lot of stuff from feminism and masculinity/RP content. Feminist content blames everyone else and "the patriarchy" while at least the masculine stuff blames weak men, the manipulative women who control them, and advocates self improvement.
    I'd like to point out her ideology lead to misery, while his lead to success and happiness.

    I feel the second story literally isnt real. If it is, both people in that situation suck so much. Also, being a feminist, in the correct usage of the term, isn't a bad thing.
    Jfc...

    • @usrnewxnew5227

      A movement is defined by its people. Present day feminism is a misandrist women's advocacy movement risen from the inherited resentment of the previous generation of women. It is not for equality.
      You're right, feminism by definition isn't a bad thing. But if feminists actually acted befitting the definition of feminism, there wouldn't be nearly as much opposition to it as there is today. If 9 out of 10 feminists hate men and one doesn't, that means feminism hates men, no matter what the definition of feminism might be.

      Story 1 did NOT make a good decision lol. She’s only 22 expecting her college age boyfriend to not only have the rest of his life planned out, but for those plans to align exactly with hers. She broke her favorite person’s (and her own) heart over a deeply selfish need to have the perfect boyfriend.
      She is far too emotionally immature to have an adult relationship and I hope she learns just how much she took him for granted in the coming years.

    people villainizing the first op don’t realize that wanting a partner who wants to grow isn’t a bad thing. wanting someone who gives you straight answers isn’t a bad thing. so many people seem to ignore the fact he’s refusing therapy

    • @chasewainscott8739
      @chasewainscott8739 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      It is a bad thing considering she and him are only 22 and were teenagers throughout their whole relationship.
      Nobody has their life figured out at that age and she didn’t even consider the possibility that the transition to adult life would change his priorities, nor did she consider helping him through the change. She wanted someone who was already grown, not someone who wanted to grow.
      This a decision that only seems good to people who are young, selfish, and have little relationship experience.
