I dont have vanilla essence and i tried this recipe using parle for 1st time but it wasnt that much good without vanilla essence.

You can use any sweet or chocolate biscuits instead of Parle G biscuits and if like the taste of Horlicks then definitely you can use.
For extra flavour, you can use little more vanilla essence or chocolate syrup.

When you boil the milk , let it cook for some more couple of minutes and then let it cool down completely then you will get thick layer of fat on milk that is called Malai
