I've never really cared about having a standard joystick arcade machine, but a custom sit-down driving arcade machine that could play all the 3D racing games from the 90s up into the early 00s would be amazing!
Hello friends, There's a car arcade game that I used to play in the 90's, but I cannot recall its name. What I remember is that every time you crashed against other cars, you would hit the drivers helmet against the windshield and break the glass. I also remember that the last track or stage was in the city; starting with a set of curves right and left going down on kind of a slope. The end of the game reveals a blonde girl who takes off her helmet, resulting in being the driver's car you were playing with. Who can help me out with the name of that game please. ),=

It pretty much is; you're not wrong. I recorded a menu off of my arcade cabinet and posted it on TH-cam. lol. It's a basic collection of retro arcade games. calm down :)
I played a game when I was a kid, where if you crash too hard on anything, it will show your car crashed and an ambulace is blaring and while you're back is the race, your windshield is broken
As soon as I saw you showing every single set I thought, I'm going to watch literally 50 games for a 1 hour video.. If you're going to do a driving video at least use a G27 or a G29 instead of a joystick that uses an on/off switch. Thats what the analog settings in MAME are for.
The NES version of Bump 'N Jump used to be one of my favorite games ever when I was a kiddo! Edit: I grew up in the 2000's and my first console was a famiclone, the infamous PolyStation
Great overview! I'm trying to recall a (80's?) driving game which, in my mind at least, had a 1st person perspective, and a bunny dangling from the rear view mirror. But for the life of me i can't find it. Anyone know?
Looking for a game : street racing where you could crash with a bus, train, go off a bridge and when you did, a woman screamed and blood covered the windshield. It is probably japan only and did not write down the name. Thanks!
If You're using Hyperspin or Launchbox, Just use the driving games as a sub category, using the Driving Games database. Pointing the roms at the full MAME rom set.

can I get my logitech g29 to work with any of these? ... that would make this worth trying
racing wheels do work with MAME. I don't have a g29 atm, but should work ok and be worth it for sure. A lot of fun.
There is a Force Feedback plugin that has been developed externally. Search ffb plugin mame

MAME doesn't emulate Hang-On or Super Hang-On? What about Up 'n Down? Seems like that one should be old enough to be emulated.
