Thanks Kate. Love this video and shared with a friend who is also very curious about Waldorf. Homeschooling in Waldorf way is very pleasant, promising and making a lot of sense to me - each day even it is a lot of work 😂.
Kate, how do you go about choosing what lesson blocks to cover for your preschooler and kindergartener? I don’t want to purchase an expensive curriculum at this point but I’m not sure what to focus on first.
Hi Katherine! That’s a great question - honestly for preschool and kindergarteners I wouldn’t purchase any curriculum at all. The lesson blocks don’t start until age 7, and before that I just focus on a 15-20 minute circletime and a storytime each day. The rest of the day is devoted to play. It’s a great time to work on cultivating a rhythm in your home, too (I have a video on that if you’re interested in more info!). Let me know if you have any other questions and I’d be happy to help!
