Quick question. What is the age range you are targeting regarding the off-season workout schedule? We have been following your program's since my since started playing in net seven years ago. He is now 14 and playing with a high level AAA Program. Due to his age, we have been focused on flexibility, sleep, and nutrition. Very little with weights even though he has been in Senior Equipment for the past three years. His coaches want him to focus on speed. What is the best way to address this???
14 years of age and up. The best way to address speed is to follow these progressions from month #1 (this is the third in a series where I outline the focus for each month). Speed is built on the back of mobility, movement skills and functional strength - so without a solid foundation of those you will not maximize speed and will increase your risk of injury.
You are my hero. Thank you!
😊 - thank you 😊
Awesome video and great explanations, please keep em coming...
Thanks and have a great day, R
I will do that for sure - my pleasure to help!

... looks like you're not alone anyway :)
Don't try to make up for lost time, just start now building that foundation and be consistent.
Ha ha - comfort in numbers :)
