    TYFS - Hi 👋🏻 Carol! Thank you for answering my question 🤔 about her name before I could ask! I’ve watched a couple of your videos & a couple other videos from this channel. I really appreciate how you ALL clearly explain & demonstrate the skills that you’re teaching. I’m a visual learner so I think that these videos on this channel are fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻

    Thank you so much...its so crucial my girl comes when I call. She's been enjoying so much joy and freedom. These are great ideas I'm definitely going to incorporate in our program to keep her sharp so she can continue to enjoy "good girl privilege". Anytime she does a naughty shs loses freedom/privilege so I try to set her up to succeed. 🙂👍❤

    I'm going to be getting a Brittany puppy this year and I was wondering, how do I teach him his name and the come command? Would I train him to come to me when I say come, and to look at me when I say his name or should I do something different? Thanks.

    We just got an 8 week old puppy and are working through teaching her name. Question- we are trying to tire her out before putting her in the crate at night but she is getting super excited and hype (lots of play growling and in turn play biting) when we do this. We have her on a house line but I think we are letting her get too playful, if that makes sense. How excited should you let your puppy get and what is the best way to calm her down when she gets like that?

    Ok! So I’ve been trying to catch a livestream for this question cause I REALLY need it answered. But please how do I raise a puppy with little kids? For instance the house line is becoming a real danger for my 9month old in particular. My 4 month old GSD pup is tied to one end of a rope and Im on the other but if my daughter is playing on the floor it’s almost inevitable that she gets hurt by the rope. Not to mention maybe tips on how to teach her to not jump over the baby or how to be gentle around kids. Thanks in advance if you do answer these!!

    Quick question, is giving the puppy a lot of treats a day bad?

    • @thealtgroup7935
      @thealtgroup7935 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I think so, but I'm pretty sure they are using her food in this case to treat her. Other videos i have watched have suggested that for puppies as they have several meals. So using one of the meals as a training exercise.

      The ALT Group what if your dogs have a raw diet?

    • @thealtgroup7935
      @thealtgroup7935 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johns1367 then just make some treats out of the raw meat... Cut some tiny chicken cubes or use a high value Berry or something they like as a treat instead of adding it to your meal. You can get loads of raw treats now that could be used too.

    Should I also have two names for my dog?

    I have a 4 year old husky, she respond to me when she like! And not interested in toy or treats, after 1 or 2 repet of every exercise she withdraws from it😅. What should I do?

    • @antonioarnold1949
      @antonioarnold1949 ปีที่แล้ว

      With the husky being 4 yo, I suggest seeking out a professional trainer to assist you and the dog. Sounds like something was missing during the puppy's stage of development and never addressed. Keep at it though...

    What dog breed is this? It looks like a border collie cross?

    • @LadyMatriarch.
      @LadyMatriarch. 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alizia Meyer I’m pretty sure they said in the first video she appeared in that she was a collie. I highly HIGHLY doubt these trainers would have mixes as their sport dog prospects.

    These look more as a recall games rather than "I say your name and your attention is on me".

    • @mochiyeosang1908
      @mochiyeosang1908 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Works as both... when you call a dogs name, you generally want them to come to you.

    My puppy is not food motivated at all. Same with toys. He just doesn't care about anything 😕
