This same conversation about women getting disproportionate attention compared to the men is what led to me starting the Real Boys Forum (RBF) for men aged 18-40 years and we've been functioning since January 1st this year.
As the woman prepares for marriage, the man also needs to be fully ready beyond just making money.
At RBF, we discuss issues across Academics, Career, Finance, Fitness, Leadership, Marriage, Parenting, Personal Development, Relationships, and Spirituality.
So far, we have written 120 articles, held 5 virtual meetups, and written a book titled Wisdom for Young Men (we are writing a book per quarter this year).
It is so heartwarming to see how young men begin to do better as they know better.

It’s Winners, Goodnews! We all clap our hands. So in 2021, my neighbor got a house assistant from Benue and her name is Goodnews. So each time I went to their house or they came to mine with the lady and the madam says Goodnews, na so I will clap my hands and shout yeahh! It was such a year and my neighbor got to know about it. My 2 cents on the identity discussion. If the woman had no identity in Christ before marriage , she wouldn’t be fit to be married. Also, like FI said her desire is to please God, so far it is a Kingdom marriage, pleasing God will at the end of the day be pleasing to the husband( tho it may not seem so in the beginning).
An example is Mary the mother of Jesus, she was in courtship with Joseph, yet God visited her first before letting Joseph know, it was her purpose, her assignment, her identity and she had to fulfill!
Her laugh is contagious.
God has daughters that we can choose from
Your wife is spiritually, the holy spirit is actually teaching her all to say, we as Christians has actually misunderstand the bible and it's really affecting us, I'm following her on IG already🏃🏃🏃

While I support our guest's view, I also opine that some women in a way or the other, plant their identity in their husbands. Now, they see this as a form of submission which I count as mis-information/misunderstanding.
Everybody should stand on their own. There are different lanes on this path, really. Make God clear us abeg, make person no mis-do.

Good question:
Scripturally, a woman's identity is found in Christ.
A wife's covering is her husband.
A woman who remains unmarried is not a wife so she's not covered by a man yet except her father

The identity part... The woman's identity is found in God, but when you marry, you connect with purpose with your husband by working under him, for he is your head. A wife's honor not a woman's honor is found in her Husband. God scores the wife through her works under her husband, by also honoring him utmostly. That is her primary(main) role.

@Gaisebaba your 50min comment has been my number concerns for sometimes now. Most male are not properly raised and that is why most hope are in problem. I have been having this discussion with some believers about how disfunctional the society has become because the society spend all its resources to raise female betterthan male. This has created so much imbalance. I strongly feel @gaisebaba i think you are a great example we need to show to the world to change this imbalance.

Interesting chat on male-female issues. Who should have developed men?
I think part of the problem is cultural. Women have had to earn their security more because of so many restrictive and frankly cruel traditions (many still cannot inherit etc). I agree that feminism has been hijacked to an extreme but there are also doors society and even the church opened. Many boys were raised to feel that being male was enough. Today's world tells a different story because women now have more access to education, which gave our fathers a financial advantage over their wives. Sadly, boys were not prepared for the changing times.

Respond in a gentle and quiet spirit. God said they'd change with our behaviour not our speech ( or nagging)
