A lot of players will decrease the DPS in order to add additional "survivability" to the build in the form of armor or armor regen. That is one way to do it, but they can keep all that DPS and still survive if they would only improve their situational awareness and their ability to quickly and accurately identify the highest threat targets.
This is why i run all red builds in legendary. My main is striker set with Prestine Example (perfect focus is king), Coyotes mask, and Kingbreaker 8x scope and linked laser. Secondary is vector 8x scope with laser and flatline. I use the crusader shield and hug corners. They already said its not getting fixed and they know about it. Until it does im gonna use it all day long. Dont need armor if you never get hit. Honestly this build has gotten me the most dps ever and is my main anywhere. It doesnt take as long as you think to get max focus.
@@MrDrGarbage I find that Perfect Focus, while theoretically powerful, seldom gets fully stacked.And the Coyote's mask is good, but I rarely use it for solo runs.
That's exactly the key to this game. I'll be on teams with level 10/20,000 SHD player and we still get wiped out because no one pays attention to the flanks. Players are either up each other's asses or too far apart and always focused on the direct front like left and right and 6 o'clock don't exist. It's maddening. I do better with new-ish players cause they're forced to play tactically out of necessity. Even running 600k armor in legendary is doable if people keep their heads on a swivel as you say. Most shield players are the worst when it comes to tactically playing and they rarely do enough damage.. They' re good for running directly in front and soaking up an entire clip meant for the enemy tho. Sorry for the rant lol
@@jojoadeyemi8239 remember SHD level is not the same thing as expertise. Higher SHD levels just mean they have more hours in the game, not that they are any better at it. When I run my repair build I typically stay in the back to watch my teammates, but I also call out threats, typically on the right and left flanks.
I don’t need a hazard all u need is to run technician and put down either a turret, or some kind of a hive and immune to that shock ammo as long as your turret or hive is not disrupted
I mixed up the stryker build, by replacing the weapons damage for skill tier 6. I have 53 crit chance, and 100 percent crit damage. I use the st. elmos engine , and a acs shotgun. I use a stryker drone, tier 6 shield, and unbreakable. I play solo most of the time. It gives you great survivability in pve.
The loadout looks really solid but I think instead of technician use gunner for the 10% ammo every 60 seconds the 5% weapon damage for 5 seconds and the rest of the buffs that give you a slight DPS and survivability boost
I run Technician and the Ninja backpack with Striker gloves, knee pads and mask. Walker Harris chest with Unbreakable and Walker Harris holster. I trade a slightly lower DPS (111,362) and CHD for armor damage and 1.0m armor. lvl 17 exprertise on everything. It hits hard and I can be a little carless whenever I want to be.
I’m curious as to why you’re running glass cannon over obliterate on chest piece.? Also I use strikers mask and ceska holster to make up the 10% crit chance that most engagements from coyote grants and it allows to run full crit damage mods on all my other gear pieces. Coyote I only find helpful in raids and countdown

Would you run this over the improvised setup you did a while back? Wondering if it’s worth farming Striker or just work on building up the improvised setup
I have a similar build but swapped the gloves for Fenris. The striker chest and backpack does insane damage together, so is there a reason why the chest would be swapped out for grupo if DPS is the goal?

The seeker mine will follow you until you send it to a target. That way it’ll proc the companion
How do you pick up level 40 weapons? Im level 30,finished the story and doing the invaded missions on world tier 1. Haven't seen a green item yet?

I agree the rpm is nice. I think it’s the lack of armor. I enjoyed striker in the first game with that healing aspect.
