As a passenger you too can experience the golden age of steam by travelling on the largest operational steamship in Europe which is run entirely by a friendly bunch of volunteers.

Shieldhall is a Heritage steam ship and a member of the National Historic Fleet. Recognised to be the largest working steam ship of her type in Britain and probably Europe, she serves as a tribute to Britain's maritime heritage and a living reminder of the golden age of steam.

What a remarkable piece of living history, I hope the Shieldhall remains at sea for many years to come. Please film and upload as much as you can. Videos (especially lengthy ones) of steam ships underway and operating are very hard to come by. She must be quite the task to keep in working order so any maintenance or opportunities to see her moving parts would also be much appreciated. Thank you and fair seas.
