I remember living in England, and thinking how inexpensive food was compared to the States- so in comparison to todays prices here on the West Coast of the US, it still is reasonable for a specialty food market. So fun to shop with you🎄

Ah excellent, I love Borough Market, I'm looking forward to being back there next year. I bought my mum some cheese from there ,and that restaurant Roast ,I took my dad there for breakfast. We met a man at the market who owns a hawk that chases away the other birds , I got pictures of that , excellent Hannah 👍

I actually did visit Borough Market in September. So much to see...And taste. It's is an amazing place . I just love the history of the area. It's a prolific filming location - American Werewolf in London and Murder by Decree, were filmed in Clink Street and down the side of Southwark Cathedral, in the 70s and 80s. It was more warehousey, and the market was wholesale then and was very different! Thanks agsin, Hannah. Really appreciate your filming in not easy circumstances!
Barcelona has some fabulous covered food markets but, I agree, Borough Market outshines them all, really really inspiring. I love your expression cupboardy bits, reminds me I need to go sort mine out and get rid of some of the out-of-date back of the cupboardy bits. Thanks for this great video.
Hannah, I love sweets too! There is a simple thing I learned to do that really helped prevent dental cavities. Always swish water around in your mouth immediately after you are done eating anything. It has been so much fun watching all your Christmas vlogs last year and your news ones this year too. Thanks for making them. You’re the best!

So nice to see you so many times in one week now !!! I was at borough market last week and was even looking to see if i was in the video somehow not knowing when exactly you had been there. I got a wonderful halloumi burger and it was worth the price which was decent. Some things at borough are good and some overpriced. Got some smoked Cheddar that I liked very much too. Enjoyed looking back to a market I also find interesting and curbs my hunger !

I wish we had a market like this here in Miami with so many shops and vendors in one place! As for the prices, it looks like your prices in London are similar to what they would be for those same items here, and maybe even a little less! A Miamian going through Borough Market would think the prices were quite reasonable. I laughed at your video about Whole Foods being the most expensive food store in the UK - here that's not even close. Try grocery shopping at Epicure on Miami Beach or Dean & DeLuca in New York. But I'm extremely jealous - watching this and then all of your Christmas videos going through Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty, Fortnum & Mason... LOVE those!
I love Borough Market! I used to go there once a week for food, but I haven't been since lockdown. As for Bridget Jones, you're dead right about the locations - and just round the corner in Clink Street is the location they used for Daniel Cleaver's flat.

The prices probably are a little high, but I think people have to consider its a touristy place and there's a lot of high quality food here. To be fair, with the exchange rate... every place is kind of pricey compared to here in Canada (with the exchange rate), but I would imagine shopping at Borough Market would still be cheaper than the food hall at Harrod's. And who doesn't like the atmosphere of an old time market? Thanks for posting, and "Til next time!
Oh those memories!! Thank you Hannah for bringing them back to me. If I lived nearby I'd do all my food shopping around there. This Summer I visited this place with a friend. I was in a dream. I had the best fish and chips in my life, very nice gluten free cakes, falafel wrap, coffee... you name it. But I discovered a foodie's heaven: a spice shop called Spice Mountain. They have spices from all over the world. I brought a big bag home. I was tempted with the cheeses but I didn't get any in the end because I imagined the poor airport stuff handling my super smelly luggage LOL The only thing I found disappointing was the toilet situation. I saw only one by the entrance near the tube station.
Ah thank you! Every time I go to London, I make my way to the South Bank and Borough. It is always entertaining! Maltby Market, near Borough is good as well. Broadway and Columbia Road are great ventures. All are fairly busy with tourists but still worth the visit. Always great food, entertainment and experiences.

I wonder how they get everyday all that huge variety of fresh fruits which you can only find in very distant countries, as they are not typical from the UK! Excellent stream Hannah Personally I find Borough Market expensive, it's not like a traditional London Market where you can purchase food items much cheaper like visiting East Street Market in Walworth, not very far from The Borough Much cheaper for everything. The Borough Market charge more for many rolls etc than Harrods Food Halls. Also since the Pandemic I am not keen on all the food being unwrapped and not well covered. Well - you outdid yourself with this one! Kudos for filming in Borough Market with all the hustle and bustle. It's certainly a feast for the senses. Too bad you didn't get to try one of the sausage rolls - they are great! Such a fantastic spot, and then to find a gorgeous cathedral right outside - spectacular! What a nice market it is! Hannah, you did an excellent job going there and filming it. Indeed, it worths a lot to go on a good visit to know and see everything they have! The prices seem to be good. I wonder how they get everyday all that huge variety of fresh fruits which you can only find in very distant countries, as they are not typical from the UK! Some of those fruits I recognized from Brazil, as "Jaca " , and "Manga" ( the portuguese name for Mango ). Merry Christmas!!! 🎅🎄🎁🔔🌟🦌☃❄

Personally I find Borough Market expensive, it's not like a traditional London Market where you can purchase food items much cheaper
like visiting East Street Market in Walworth, not very far from The Borough
Much cheaper for everything.
The Borough Market charge more for many rolls etc than Harrods Food Halls.
Also since the Pandemic I am not keen on all the food being unwrapped and not well covered.
Too easy for germs to get on the food, maybe I am getting fussy in my old age

Well - you outdid yourself with this one! Kudos for filming in Borough Market with all the hustle and bustle. It's certainly a feast for the senses. Too bad you didn't get to try one of the sausage rolls - they are great! Such a fantastic spot, and then to find a gorgeous cathedral right outside - spectacular! Everything I've tried there has been good, especially the cheeses and the breads. Love all the fruit and veg stands and the lovely flowers. Thank you so much! Enjoyed your Q&A on Instagram - looking forward to seeing what you get up to in the New Year (how about day trips from London? Canterbury is nice, or the seaside, or.........).

I never heard of this Market before, thank you very much for showing it. I think that a two week visit there would be just about right. 🤣 Is there a better place to sample foods from all over the world? I think that I will be rewatching this vlog over and over. 😍♥♥

That was fun wasnt it? Regardless of whether or not i could have any of that fare anymore, still its fun to have the stroll around with you through the bazaar at Christmas and to see what they put together. So festive.
