- Trying out the tidal Delaware River at the Commodore Barry bridge near Philly. We last fished this area in May of 2015 when we caught 58 catfish and ran out of bait. This time around was nowhere near as good but still fun. I did manage to catch my 1st ever Blue Catfish!!! Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!!!

Lmao….so glad someone caught that n enjoyed it like I did (trout) I thought of the “your my boy blue” right away…was like yup, it’s getting added 😂. I groomed Jeremy well!!! He worked for me back in the day at 18 years old. Let’s just say he was what u call a girly man back then. Now he’s full blown big bearded n skilled lol. Wasn’t nowhere near our other outing but still had a great time out there! Thanks as always brother! Always appreciate your comments 👊

I was about to say that is a blue catfish without even watching your video Chris, lol. You were talking about how they were non existent or extremely rare in the deleware... but maybe that is up river. They are invasive and I am sure people have introduced them... great sportfishing. You tore it up and got some nice cats. Looks like a great place to chill/fish at on the river in Phillie. Cool bridge shots and its a good thing you guys weren't wearing Astros hats, lol. Great video!

Great video! You guys were in some catfish. I was reading up on the blue catfish in Delaware because I’ve heard people say there weren’t any, apparently they are listed as invasive. Read an article that says they’re asking people not to release them in Delaware if caught and contact the DNR. Who knew. I thought it was an awesome catch.

Ahhh usually catch small cattys in Delaware .. go up to the skuykill river that’s where the monsters are 💪🏽

Are their Catfish further down the Delaware River ? Do you know? How far down?
Hi Dan! Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I do not know how far south of this area you can catch them as this is the furthest south I have fished for them.
