I am glad that they did not forget this guy. After finishing the game, there is a whole sidequest that gives more depth to his character that explains why he is there and what he's doing. Fighting him again hits different after that.
I love this boss. It has a great flow to it combat wise. Also his summoning of different weapons (in this case ice weapons) reminds me of Margit from Elden Ring. Wonder if he was inspired by Margit.
@@Rubhen925 oh okay i think i know which ring, also how do i get rising tide to start. I finished echo of the fallen but nothing. I restarted the game but that also did nothing. I made sure that the dlc was purchased just incase.
Make sure all is downloaded properly. Then go into clive's room where the trinkets and notes are and read the one for the dlc marked with a gold symbol.@@thechelet
In nutshell this dude received shiva's powers and basically you are kinda fighting shiva And also it seems shiva can freeze time 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Oh and btw devs said jill would do something but nope her eikon got more sentence than her 😂😂😂 I guess Japanese writers love to screw up female characters everysingle time

Every one of those attacks can be dodged with the correct timing. I beat it on Final Fantasy mode without using potions, though the accessory that boosts Limit HP replenish (you get in Echoes of the Fallen DLC) did come in clutch. Fun fight.

its a ring. I forget the name. It increases attack proficiency and dodge with every precision dodge. Gives this dodge effect as well.
