Mazda is one of the best manufacturers that needs to get more popular! with feature filled cars unlike Toyota which sells underfeatured cars for an expensive price sadyang matibay lng at resale value lng ksi ang Toyota. Filipinos rlly need to explore cars outside of Toyota because most of us dont know what we are missing

Toyota o Mitsubishi ang mas accurate di Toyota or Honda. Plus ang alam ko hindi lahat ng estimated 170k units na nabenta ng Toyota nung 2017 ay ginagamit as private vehicles. Also for public transport and commercial use examples:
Vios as a Taxi and a Police Car
Corolla as a Police Car
HiAce as Ambulance, School Service, UV Express, and Shuttle Service for Tourists and Hotel Guests
Hilux (Cab & Chassis) as a Police Truck, School Service, and Delivery Truck
Avanza as Taxi and Police
Innova as Taxi (Baguio) and Police Car
Alphard as a Shuttle Service of luxurious hotels commonly found in Entertainment City complex

(ANOTHER EDIT: Just wishing our authorities and commercial people would use different cars as well like our policemen would look cooler in a Civic or any Mazda than a Corolla or Vios in my opinion)
All around kasi Toyota sobrang maganda at lahat naka toyota sa daan, big plus din sa mga street mechanics natin mas alam nila mga toyota makina.
You get a Toyota if you want to play safe. Pang mga duwag ito. Ayaw sumubok ng iba.
@@GreatGrandmasterWang for me if u want a luxury vehicle but still scared of other brands. I'll go for a Lexus it's Toyota's luxury segment
Got my Mazda2 a year and a half ago, never a day I get tired driving with my baby around especially on provincial roads. And I didnt regret for choosing this car, proud and humbled to have one. Kudos to Mazda for creating this subcompact car.

Got mine almost same time as yours... No complain here... Drving it in provncial roads a lot too. Enjoy driving it on twisting roads even mine has no g vectoring yet... Happy mazda 2 owner here also
Just simple things no problems from my car sir 😉 proud and humble to own this as my first car. Glad also that I picked this one over Honda City. The drive and handling really made a difference. Plus the looks too
Wakey Bakey for city drive i was to clock in about 9-11km/L and for hiway or province 18-20km/L. And it is not bad for a 1.5L automatic. One tme i drove from Cebu City to Dumaguete City (thats approx 170km), i only consumed about 7 or 8 liters of fuel and we are 5 in the car. Hehe not bad :)

The price is just right for the engine, features and styling. If only I had extra, I would have chosen this over a mirage hatchback but I'd rather have a car than commute. Nice review btw. 😁👌

It is just so sad that there are no amenities at the back seat like phone charger and arm rest, but other than these, features are superb. Keep it up Mazda. One of my dream cars is Mazda. Actually, I have driven a Mazda 3 and it was okay.

@@raintiangja8502 Their are 2 cupholders next to the handbrake lever between the frontseats. And a bottleholder in the front doors.
No cruise control? Hmm mine is mazda 2 R type, it has no paddle shift but it has cruise control. Anyway mazda is a very cool and fun to drive car imho

No cruise control!? Far out - even the cheapest Mazda 2 here in Australia gets that. (same with autonomous emergency braking - I doubt any of yours get that)

Ive had a Mazda 3 and currently have a Mazda 2. Strong engine and really love the handling. But I'll NEVER ever buy mazda again.
Very quick to rust. Expensive parts. Repairs almost always have to be done at dealer. When MIL turns on it won't turn off even after replacing the faulty part/s. You have to bring it to the dealer to clear it because common obd readers won't work.
And when your A/C breaks down the repair shops would either reject you or charge very high because they have to remove the whole dash board to fix it.
I have a 25 year old flooded 323 and a '17 Mazda 2 love the handling and the engines. Sounds like you live in a shitty salty area

@@jukervlogs8955 kung looks jazz rs, konti lang nmn difference nila in terms of speed. mas may dulo lang yung mazda 2 ska mas premium look ang interior. and yung nav ng mazda may tendency na mag hang pag mabilis mo i operate. i suggest i test drive nyo pareho para ma feel nyo kung san kayo mas comfortable.

You will soon. I used to dream about these things too, but God willing, he made it possible for us after some time.
I like the Mazda 2, but a price above 1M for a B-segment hatchback is just way to much. The Fiesta Sport+ is 905k, and come with a more powerfull engine. Sure the Fiesta is an older model, which has already been replaced in other markets like Europe, but the Mazda 2 is not that new either.
One thing that is very nice about Mazda cars are they are really built straight from Japan, not by any southeast asian nations, but still problems arising when talking about spare parts availability wherein most of them are very expensive, so Toyota still the best there is...I don't think Toyota sells underfeatured cars, they just don't put a lot of fancy stuffs in it....

Very fun to drive car, and IMO its still the best looking in it's segment but yeah really lacks in practicality like cabin space.
Laki pa ng transmission tunnel sa gitna, uncomfortable for middle passenger sa likod.
You buy a Mazda for driving experience. Kaya masikip dahil sa 4-2-1 exhaust para hindi mag knock for high compression engines. High compression equals to less fuel more air more efficient.
ill take the Ford Focus than this when it comes for the price of the car
Good choice. Unmatched performance at that price range. Problema takot mga tao sa american cars.
