I always find your interpretation different from the other pianists. Your interpretation touches me somehow so deep. The pressure you put on the keys plus the timings are always very beautiful. Thank you sir 🙏🏻

I can definitely relate the octaves thing. Octaves are one of my biggest strengths, but something like a tricky scale can easily trip me up. It's very interesting how different people seem to be predisposed to excel at different techniques.
    Wonderful insight as always, Josh!

What an amazing tutorial. Although I won't play this piece any time soon (or probably never :D), it was very exciting and useful to watch.
Btw.: FRISKA - to approximate the pronunciation, you would write it as "Frishka" in English. It is a very fast folk dance that was popular in the 19th century in the area that is currently the south of Slovakia.
LASSAN - is pronounced like something like "Lashan", but with a long "sh". And it literally means slowly in Hungarian.

I love your interpretation of this masterful piece of music.
You definitely make this piece More musical.
    Some performances sound too mechanical.
    Thanks !
    Very comprehensive.

I grew up with my mom "making" me take lessons. I didn't particularly enjoy it and as soon as I left for college I mostly gave it up. fast forward a few years, I got married (she's was a music major haha) and we've had a piano in our home for the last 17 years. my wife teaches piano and flute and music is very big in our home. However, my playing has waxed and waned over the years but I'm so glad I took lessons growing up. its time for us to upgrade our current piano and my interest in getting back into playing more seriously has spiked. I found your website and your propratice course (lifetime access) looks amazing. I'm very excited to get back into playing daily.
    oh...and thanks mom!

I can't read music, I am a self taught pianist, but I always wanted to play classical music. Watching your videos has allowed me to learn the patterns in classical pieces and add color/emotion to my own playing.
Thanks a lot! God bless :)
