Hello everyone, this is Yaltta.
Today, we took a day to explore Megalaya.
We were truly awestruck by the grandeur and enormity of nature, feeling the powerlessness of humanity in its presence.
Although it was a bit disappointing that one day was not enough to fully experience such a vast place, we still believe we made the most of our journey.
For your information, Megalaya is said to have even more beautiful waterfalls during the rainy season!

Yeahh, they probably had a stereotype that India is dirty ,but it isn't at all Places , it's only the maine land and highly populated places which are dirty , AS SOMEONE FROM THE MAINLAND (U.P) it's always been a dream to visit north east of India 😅❤
@@sakuhara756bro, not the whole of North & big cities are dirty, they are really small youtubers, they can't afford big 5-7 star hotels & big cities, that's why..
And tier 2 cities are bit dirty only.. Maybe when they will get 1m.. They will book 7 stara hotels
It does feel like INDIA... BECAUSE IT IS INDIA. Just because it's not extremely mainstream like Mumbai doesn't mean it doesn't feel Indian.

Let me share a fun story. I went to Meghalaya few months back, it was a wonderful experience. There were many adventures through out the trip, but one of the most thrilling ones was in the Mawsmai cave.
We reached the cave pretty late, almost at 4.30 pm. It was closing time. We persuaded with the guard and managed to enter. It was like dusk. Very little light through the mountainous jungle. We were going to the destination, while everyone was returning. We reached the starting of the cave, it was just 3 of us. We entered and on our way we saw that everyone was returning.. at first we were a bit worried, but then we decided that it's a one time experience, let's go in. We went through the cave, to a point where there was no artificial light anymore. Only 3 of us, at first hesitant, but then we were like "let's give it a a shot." We walked through the extremely narrow path, not knowing what was on the other side. We also had to return, walking through the hilly forest, and it was already dark.
We preceded a bit further, it was pitch dark, I turned on the mobile torch, and there were NUMEROUS bats flying all around.. It felt like a literal horror movie, istg. I quickly turned off the torch as the bats were coming towards it.. Never in my entire life had I seen such huge sized bats. They literally flew to our face.
For a moment we were so scared.. We decided to return back as the entire cave was completely empty and it was already past 5 pm. 5 pm in the hills is pretty late and dark.
While returning, 2 bats literally flew into my face.. I was so scared, Oh my god...
Then after some time, we made our way out.. we could not complete the entire path and had to return halfway coz it was pretty late and only us... But it was so fun and adventurous at the same time. It felt like experiencing horror movie in real life.
We came out, and three of us along with the guard, made our way back through the full moon lit forest. It is a experience, I will never ever forget.

The northeastern states of India are often called the 'Seven Sisters of India' for the simple reason that there are seven states that form that part of the country (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam , meghalaya, Manipur, mizoram, nagaland, Tripura) if it's possible than please visit all 7 sisters. specially arunachal pradesh .. Love from Northeast (Assam)❤️
There is saying in India one life is not enough to explore whole india❤ different cultures, different foods, different architecture, different ethnicity's, different religions, different languages, different weather and different landscapes 💙
Why not possible to explore india. Even few are exploring the whole universe.. Matter of few bucks not generation.. Or anything. 🫢
I lived in Shillong from 2001-2004. I fell in love with the place and the culture. Lush green everywhere.
Meghalaya really lives up to its name as the abode of clouds. Lots of beautiful clouds in the sky as I can see.

8:30 One thing about the Mawsmai cave is that if u shine a light on the rocks there, it shines like stars. Quite beautiful. I went there like 2 yrs ago.

This trip could be planned better but again , planning makes everything so strategic that it loose that essence of serenity, joy of knowing the the unknown.. who knows we might stumble onto something good even though it's not planned properly..

We also drink salty tea in assam it's basically red tea with black pepper powder and salt it's called nimokh saah (nimokh -salt/saah-tea) we mostly drink it when the weather is really cold or when we have a bad throat it's quite helpful 😊

Please do visit Andaman and Nicobar islands of India . It is great for scuba diving and has white sand and sky blue water . You will feel like you guys are in Hawaii.
There are more than 40 things to see & do in Sohra (Cherrapunji). And many other places just as nice as Sohra or even better.
