Hey....my husband and I usually vacation in Gettysburg every year. We usually are just leaving as bike week is rolling in but this year, we will be there during bike week and will be taking in the entertainment. My husband I will slightly stand out because we are riding Honda's. Harleys are just too much for our pockets - especially in this economy. He has a CBR 1000 RR and I have a Shadow Phantom cruiser. However, I am hoping most people nowadays has the mentality that a rider is a rider. We may eventually get a HD but not right now. We both also wear full riding gear. Once, while we were there, we went riding without anything. I kept my gloves on. It was weird. It felt good but at the same time, my paranoia started to set in about what would happen if I had an accident - even if it wasn't my fault. Kudos to those who can ride without that fear. Both of us are also combat veterans (Army) - I guess we are just used to wearing safety gear. The one thing we never end up doing on vacation is meeting new people. We did meet one person about 6 years ago on one of our trips and he was so personable that we've been friends ever since - he lives in NY and we live in MD! We love meeting new people and we are the most loyal friends you could ever have as well. Just so hard meeting new people who have a decent amount of things in common to keep a friendship I guess. By the way, what kind of camera do you use and what do you use to edit your videos?
Bitchin' channel y'all. I've seen several of your videos and each one is very well put together. The quality of this channel speaks volumes of the passion that you have for the lifestyle. Where are you folks from?
🛑🛑 Guys…You all should come up for Johnstown Thunder in the Valley (Pennsylvania). It’s always a good time. We all head to the Rally in Town to check the bands out , and hit Jim and Jimmie’s for adult beverages 🥃🍺. It was nice seeing you guys in Ocean City, and getting a chance to talk with you (Advan Upgrades to your Roadglide). My Son In-law was the one you guys were talking to about the riding shoes you recommended, and you videoed his recommendation (Craig) 😀👍💯. Loved the video! I live in MD and always go to Gettysburg bike week, US-15 going into Pennsylvania is one of my favorite highways to ride I hit it up multiple times a month. I watch so many videos of places I’ve never been it was kinda a cool to see one with routes I’ve actually riden! Lol. Will look for you guys next year, first round’s on me!
Missed 1 GBW in the last 20 years yet have never gone into the pay areas. It is about the rides, the stops, and meeting the other riders. Most evenings are spent consuming adult beverages in the hotel parking lot and lobby hanging and talking bikes & rides with people we meet. May see you guys this coming year if you are there. The video made me wish it was July already. Thanks for taking us along.
Yeah it definitely doesn't. From the amount of big name vendors that OC has to the numerous big name bands to the main strip having so many great bars and restaurants... there is no comparison. Only thing Gettysburg wins on is the actual roads to ride!!
Ok, I'm from Annapolis, and have been there for the car and the bike show. Lived in Harper's Ferry area and never heard of one in Gettysburg. Still looked like a nice ride though. Going to try and meet the Monkeys at beertoberfest. Anyway, have a multi-dimensional evening.
@@gremlyn1439 the riding is definitely nicer in the Gettysburg PA area for sure. But if you are interested in Vendors, concerts and having a great time, OC bike fest is where it's at

As long as ride 👊🏻. Thank you for your service. We use go pro7’s, iPhones , a canon m50, and in our latest videos a canon r6. Thanks for watching.
