I was at that game! WVU honestly controlled the pace of the game from about 10 minutes left In the 1st half through the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half. Even tho KU had a small leads at times throughout the 1st half the momentum wasnt on Kansas side, West Virginia hit big 3 after 3! just when Kansas would close the gap to within 5. It still seemed that West Virginia had a grasp on the game, the crowd definitely started to get that "oh shit" "we might/probably will loose this game". If Kansas didnt pull off that unbelievable comeback the previous season, where the National Player Of The Year Frank Mason helped his Kansas team down 12 with about 2 minutes left in the game to a comeback win in OT. The crowd would have been in full blown "panic / anxiety mode" as soon as KU tied the game with a 3 in transition from Newman, the crowd had the loudest hype roar that lasted all throughout the timeout. That was the 1st point in that game in where it felt like Kansas now held the momentum. As a Kansas fan, the biggest thorn in Kansas side has been WVU! Since WVU joined the big 12 during the 12-13 season. Ku has only won in Morgantown 2 times. & have had to pull off 2 amazing comebacks in Allen. Not to mention both times KU & WVU met in the big12 tournament, has been in the championship game in where Kansas has had to play one of their best games of the season to win. I'm glad they joined the big12 I'd say From pure competition standpoint they are Kansas biggest rival
My buddy and I were at the Fogg that night, too. Loudest basketball crowd I have ever encountered by far. Unreal. When the momentum started to swing, you can see how that place is a home court advantage. If WVU Coliseum had a low ceiling, we might be able to compete. But that place is jammed to the low rafters and they yell in unison.

I’ll always say about this game. WVU probably deserves 10-12 more FTA but if they call every missed call KU would be have gotten another 20 FTA.
