I dont know why, but I really love to play Sweden with Inno>Quality>Religious>Offensive Excellent video, one thing when u click the mission to spend 1500 to upgrade the monument please upgrade it first and then click the mission, easy lv3 with no need to waste more money. Normally I play with a lot of trade company in the Russian region, u can realize a lot of vassals and conquer its cores And when I conquer Denmark I just move my capital to there, Lübeck it's a better trade node. And finally after conquer England or part of it I move my capital to London :) Continue the good work
Gread video, as always ;) have to do a proper Sweden run myself. Also love to get inno as an opener. I feel like it’s underrated. Like people who like it REALLY like it, but most people dont care for it. But the policies you get with it man. Coupled with Offensive and you just melt forts.

Sweden STARTS with 20% infantry combat ability. The independence war is a cakewalk and can be done without allies. Sweden's military is strong that it just makes for a chill game and you have nothing to fear. Trade ideas and money is sorted. Just a nice easy chill game with a lot of opportunity and can colonize as well if you want.
@@fishcakerplus you can colonize as Sweden easily. Especially if you take Iceland from Norway in the independence war. They also have colonizing missions in the mission tree. I think you should try Sweden again, money is really easy. You dev and do the missions for the Dalaskogen province. Create a flagship with the trade power bonus and just protect trade with the whole fleet in the baltics and yeah obviously get as many trade centers in the node as you can. Getting the whole Baltic isn't THAT wide, it's a pretty small area of Europe and there's not much aggressive expansion other than the few inside the HRE.
@@harku123 I played Sweden and did a Eurasia conquest. I just closed the game before going into Africa and Indonesia because there was no point to play it for me I think. I had the HRE under my belt with every reform unlocked (except the last one because it makes your nation worse off) and completing the Scandinavia mission tree at that. The colonizing missions are almost entirely pointless to do because the rewards are basicly just one colonist (you can still do it however and grab green land or scavage for some of North America but by then you are BTFOd by every colonial power: UK, France, Spain and ESPECIALLY Portugal. About deving, yes your observation is correct that you can make a lot of ducats from developing the iron and copper mines and completing the missions for Dalaskogen. However, this is always at the cost of culture conversions, accepting cultures, and so on, which are necessary for a lot of the Sweden mission tree, especially when you need to scramble for provinces to become Finnish, which is kind of a pain. As per the rest of what youre saying, yeah I agree you should get those light ships to protect trade, this pressumes that you have already conquered Riga and vassalized it, or control a lot of the Baltic sea anyway. Otherwise you won't compete that well until you do. Again, ships cost a lot to build in the first place, slowing down your conquest. And you need to compete with the Danish fleet and whoever is in the Baltic to begin with that you need to conquer. Yeah sure baltics isnt that wide, but you cant entirely focus on the baltic trade node anyway, its not that rich and, denmark. the HRE, poland and russia are your main problems to deal with. Getting a little extra trade from that node isnt that crazy of a priority in the mid game, id say its more important to take control of the Lubeck trade node actually since its richer and you have a priority to deal with the Danes as fast as possible, and id recommend moving ur trade post there anyway.
You CAN colonize as Sweden, but it's the same as colonizing as Genoa, or Poland. You will get some benefit, but to get rich off this, you'd need to at least conquer Ireland and Scotland, and preferably also some English Channel provinces. Nothing is going from America to Baltic Sea or Lubeck
The clergy one is op, you can just become the papal controller for free but it takes a lot to pay back and all repayments should me made cheaper imo, after all Denmark abused Sweden so the estates should be more thankful
Would love a part 2 exploring the rest of the mission tree and seeing just how OP you can get your army.

you can not colonize as Sweden haha, money is never sorted as Sweden if you're playing wide until you control the baltic sea.
