I'm a Carley Fortune fangirl and every single book she's released so far was a 5 star read for me but I get why they can be polarizing, especially Every Summer After. TSWBD was so lovely, bittersweet, nostalgic and beautiful for me, I absolutely loved every single page and cried a lot, too.
Elements of Cadence was so beautifully written and highly recommend! It is slower pace but it never feels like it drags on and the world gives outlander Scottish highland vibes!

i think you would like a river enchanted by rebecca ross! its very different from divine rivals, its adult fantasy and feels kind of fairy-tale/cozy fantasy-esque to me! the writing is so beautiful and lyrical and whimsical. both books in the duology were 5 starts for me
Rebecca Ross also has The Elements of Cadence duology: A River Enchanted and A Fire Endless. I'm almost finished with the second book & I'm really enjoying these books!
i recommend dream lie beneath by rebecca ross if you want something great off her backlist!! its a ya standalone, such cosy yet beautiful writing with the cutest romance sideplot aswell!!

I read the queens rising duology by Rebecca Ross and the writing was just as beautiful, I really enjoyed them! The fantasy world was really good and the romance 👌. I gave them both a 4.5 only because they weren't new favourites but they definitely were 5 star reads in many ways
Rebecca Ross has another duology called the elements of cadence and those are some of my favorite books ever!! I enjoyed them a lot more than divine rivals
If you want another Rebecca Ross book to read I recommend checking out Sister’s of Sword and Song. It was so good imo! Not as good as Divine Rivals but a solid book!
