Holy moly that felt great. My hips always appreciate a good stretch. My left side is so much stiffer than the right, and although the figure-4 on the left felt nigh on impossible, I'm going to keep using that to open up. Finally getting back to the mat and daily practise this new year (journal/meditate/yoga/exercise) and this 30-day set aligns perfectly. Thanks SaraBeth! On contentment, something that came out of this morning's practise for me, especially recently getting back on the path after living rather unhealthy for quite a while, is the connection between feeling small & weak & easily blown around by the events of any given day & noticing how much craving & grasping comes up .. and remembering that's how every seed starts. And I think of the phrase "everything I need is already inside". That's why I love ending my morning practise with tree pose, and smiling to the thought "I am a tree .. with the ocean inside". ☺
I am so grateful to have found you and your practices online. Your energy, calm, and presence speaks to my nervous system in a way no others have. Beyond my sentiments, you have a way of describing in words the way the movements can be done which don’t require one to constantly be focused on the screen. Thank you so much for all the goodness you share! 💜

So often the runner's lunge seems to be used as a transition to the next move, especially when doing flow. I thoroughly enjoyed remaining in this pose for a few moments. Thanks!

What if we don't feel any streching in that final figure 4s? Does that mean we are stretched?
Could mean you need to tilt your pelvis to go a little deeper. Or try modifying with a half pigeon instead
