Well, Vince has the Time Jumpers, an all-star touring/recording group and this is one of his staple songs in their sets. I prefer the Time Jumpers over Asleep At The Wheel, mainly because Ray Benson is egotistical and has that bonehead southern hard rock voice which does not fit the music.
