Thank you for the well done and realistic video. Been in a rut with my hunts down in Zirconia but this has motivated me to keep looking. I hope you and your family has a wonderful summer!
When you don't have flip flops, you're in Crocs. Your artifact hunts are a lot like mine. I question a lot of the you tube finds. Or maybe we just live in Western North Carolina. Thanks for the hunt, David
lol. I’m not too picky with my footwear. Any port in a storm! Thanks for watching David. Keep on finding the bits and pieces and look forward to the rare beauty that shows itself.
I often wonder why we don’t find many drills in WNC… for example I’ve only found 2 in all my years of looking … perhaps the answer is right in front of our face or are we asking the wrong questions ? The subject may require your excellent research skills ? 🏆
Truthfully, there probably are rocks that went through natural fires and were altered similarly as a result. But knowing that the spot I’m standing on was an ancient camp with numerous fire pits, and the massive amount of fire cracked rock in a very small area make it highly probable that the altering of the rock was from manmade activity. I wouldn’t identify the rock as I did without the bulk of evidence. Great question!

Thank you Natalie. Keep your eyes on the dirt my friend!
You have to love a good rain and a wash. So much fun and relaxing to do this.
Absolutely!!

We missed the worst of it. Just praying for and helping our neighbors to the east. Thanks for asking.

I think the answers lay beyond my simple self….but will keep asking the questions regardless. Thanks for watching bud!
how do you tell the difference between a camp fired rock and a rock that was in a forest fire?
Thanks for the video
