    Happy to see you back at the garden. I wish ours would produce artifacts along with vegetables. Les said that watching your videos is like going home.😊

    Well Ben I was up in Gatlinburg Tenn, for 7 days and I see why you love the country up there. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful and a great place to get away from the crazy world. I rented a cabin in Servier and never turned the TV on. I've been to Southeast Kentucky a lot of time to visit my mom's side of the family. Hard to come back to Texas and the drought.

      @@HistoryHoundDetectingwow!cool arrow heads🏹Happy New year to you🎇🎆sorry i didnt wished you earlier ,but the holiday season hasnt been to easy on me 🕎🎄as my loved ones i miss my parents memories where coming up,me and dad who i miss celebrated both Hanukkah and christmas🕎🎄so i had a little 🕎service for him since his birthday fell on the eve of the last night of Hanukkah this recent year ,as we lite the menorah 🕎together during a service a few years back il before this covid chaos il always keep that memory with me 🏹its cool though concerning youre find ,there times i watch documentaries kenny rodgers he had ones on the west ,and he spoke about the commanche 🏹and how theyre skill at shooting arrows was superb when facing rifles ,il have to rewatch it as they said the commanche could shoot 6 arrows in a few cant fully remember but i bought the series on dvd,concerning kenny rogers but it seems from what i hear the commanche where deadlier at firing their arrows and the guns that won the West cool find thanks for sharing ive been investigating the curse of tippecanoe deeper ,ive been looking to find a book that may have more insights in it ,i got a book here by Allan echart the Gateway to Empire but it doesnt seem to mention it the Fronteirsman you showed seems interesting i hope i can view it ,i see a few others online called the Shadow of tecumsehs curse over the white house another which is saying Tecumsehs curse written by a lady who seems to delve into native beliefs and astrology etc as theres a theory that jupiter and saturn came together during these presidential 20 yr cycles ive heard biden was the latest ,some say ronald reagen broke it as he was the 8th that almost seem to have fell to it ive heard nancy reagen believed in the curse and hired astrologers and faith prayers to pray over her husband when he was elected in 1980 ,there theories that say prayers helped broke the curse cycle there was a guy online who said youll have to be blind to see these deaths from 1840 to 1960 as just a coincidence ,theres another curse ive been hearing called the curse of chief cornstalk he also was a shawnee that was killed by the Americans when he was taken hostage in their fort near the time of the american revolution its said he uttered a hex over point pleasent virginia its belived some strange creepy stuff accourd as the years went by in that region one of the weirdst events was a creature they call moth man which was a entity that stood like a man and had large red eyes a couple ran into this creature in 1966 waaaaay before i was born and where in their car they drove to escape it but the creature still caught up with them as they drove 120miles 🚗💨💨💨💨💨💨💨in full speed in created quite a fright ,then in dec 1966 the silver bridge connecting point pleasent and ohio suddenly collapsed killing everyone on it some say moth man was seen on the bridge shortly before the tragedy weird stuff😱some think moth man may be a extraterrestrial as ive heard a space craft was seen when moth man was seen as well i sometimes delve into the unexplained wish you all the best and thanks for 🏹covering this amazing find the jagged edges of the arrow head are stunning💯

    I'm not a detectorist but while artifact hunting here in colo I kept finding test pits on ridge top while decending down a draw one had quartz with tourmaline the next ridge amethyst then I found a glory hole in schist that went down about 12ft to water level and not a bit of tailings so I knew someone found gold a little bit further down the gulch I found a stone wall and a burnt cabin kicking around where the cabin once was I found a really cool hand made three legged crucible and I knew who dug the hole.anyways on the way out I found a nice petrified wood paleo knife in the gulch and a nice point a little further on archaic. Anyways what I was building up to is that white men camped in the same places as the native americans so detecting can lead to arrowheads or vice versa.good video just looking at the serrations make. me wince good luck!

      @HistoryHoundDetecting  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You’re exactly right. Thats why so many gardens turn up artifacts in these NC mountains. The farmers put their gardens on level ground near water….which is exactly where the natives preferred to camp thousands of years earlier. Times roll by but people don’t change nearly as much as we think we do.

      @@HistoryHoundDetecting well you know I'm actually still dreaming that when I go back I'll find a cast ingot to match the crucible it is all hand forged and has a nice pocket unit about 3in in diameter and a half inch deep I'm not much into gold because of it's bad history but a plug that size would be a nice bonus .I actually went back once and found another nice point but unfortunately it now resides in the crack between my cabinet and my trailer wall and due to the structure looks like I'm going to have to due an archeological extraction from outside my trailer talk about close to home .good luck in your future hunts and thanks for the chat

    Yo this is chase, that’s an awesome find! I don’t do too much artifact hunting, but while I was fishing at queens lake I found a nice quartz arrowhead in a mudhole!

    Nice finds! We don't get many stone points up here. We do stumble accros the occasional copper culture artifacts from time to time. All are so cool though! Great job

      I found a couple rolled copper beads…or tinklers a few years back…but that’s the only copper I’ve seen around here.

    There’s a fresh plowed field beside a creek just down the road. I’m tempted to ask around and go look. I’m going tomorrow to metal detect a former homesite of a Confederate Army Officer 😮Video coming soon! I enjoy your content and have for a couple years

    Awesome Ben. It's getting harder and harder to a place to hunt here. Californians have moved in like grasshoppers buying the land up and putting 10fences up and you will not get on their land. I just came back from 9 days I the Pigeon Forge area and it's so sad to see what they have done and are doing to those beautiful mountains.
