Looks terrific! One thing I would check is the space where the concrete meets the house to apply caulking, if needed, to prevent water seepage.
House is coming along great 👍

I used hydrolic cement where the landing met the house and it has stopped seepage and filled the void.

Love your can-do approach to everything you take on. The yellow flower and door mat really pops against the black porch and white brick. Looking forward to seeing the railing added. I have an observation that concerns me regarding the gap between the porch and brick. I assume there may be some kind of wood structure behind the porch supporting the exterior wall where water will gravitate to in driving rain or whenever you clean the porch with water, which can cause wood to rot. Also, my eyes were drawn to the gap distracting from a completely finished appearance to an otherwise very pleasant aesthetic. (Very similar to the previous issue you addressed by filling the gaps between the bricks and under the bricks at the base of the brick wall after you painted the bricks white.) It seems brick mortar would be the product of choice, however, a builder's supply store should be a great resource for the best product for this application. Your huge Air B&B project was a huge undertaking & you've done an amazing job! Thank you for sharing it on TH-cam! You are very industrious, talented and continually expanding your skill-set! Well done! 👏👏👏

You can add black stripes on each side of the white concrete steps. Add 3" and next to it a 1" strip going vertical down the steps. It'll create a carpet look and look pretty.

Sue Wolfe- I love the contrast of the black and white on the porch. Nice job! Have you thought of handrails for your guests? It might help when bringing luggage up and down the steps to have something to hold onto. I have balance issues and this would help since there are more than 2 steps. 👏👍❤️

I’m not being critical of your heart and the sentiment you expressed. I understand you have a tender heart to the two of them. However, I think it’s best to pray for God’s will to be done for them...which may or may not be for them to be together. I watched Neiman’s YT and he seems to want to focus on some issues for himself. I loved his content...and I will continue following both of them. They are lovely. But sometimes for a myriad of reasons, ppl don’t need to stay together....at least at this time. It’s good they realized they need to grow individually before they got marriaged and/or had children involved. I pray God’s best for both of them.

Omg😳😳sweet girl. I feel your pain..I'm a retired plumber and one time I had to cut out old plumbing under a house and they had some kind of metal pipe that they used. It wasnt regularly metal pipe that they used a long time ago. This house wad plumbed by a old plumber back in the early 1900s. Like when they first got running water in the house.. I had to use a grinder and actually cut out 4 inch pipe all under the house.. while I'm laying on my back... I hope your not to sore tomorrow...😳 the porch looked beautiful.and so do you.. 💞💞💞..

Just curious if you’ve had any opportunity to paint/refinish a staircase banister? My wife and I got a quote to re-do ours and it was over $5K very tedious.
We decided to tackle it our own and thought we did well. Even put clear coat on it, however within a couple months things were chipping and coming off.
At any rate, I really appreciate your content and expertise and have wondering if you’ve run into issues with things chipping/coming off after doing them.
